Panicking after visit to Rheumy
I was diagnosed with PMR four years ago. Three months later GCA came along and I was topped up to 60 mgs of pred and referred to Rheumy. I managed to come down OK until I reached 4mgs nearly two years ago but couldn't get any lower without having a flare (only with PMR symptoms, not GCA). My GP was

Lipoic acid
Ibenmaor wrote that lipoic acid helps with fatigue. Is anyone taking it successfully for gait? Here is one of the articles (I've only seen it discussed in relation to SPMS): https://multiplesclerosisnewstoday.com/lipoic-acid-for-rrms

Hi. I have been having troubles with my periods since they first started at the age of 16. I went for checks and they couldn’t find the source but I was prescribed Mefenamic Acid. It helped for a while but my periods got that bad I began to have explosive diarrhoea and was vomiting because of the pain

TERRIBLE Brain fog
Hello. I've been detached from reality (brain fog) for quite a long time now (2 years) and I feel a bit desperate. I changed my diet (gluten-free, lactose-free, soy-free, egg-free; GUT health), I am taking supplements (Rhodiola, L-Theanin, Quercetin, Una de gato, Omega-3 and many more), I tried to clarify

Prework FET, postwork FET - Positive result (warning)
Ladies, I thought I’d share with you our journey so far.. I did a lot of research after our failed IUI and IVF. I wanted to make sure that the next round we do, will be the last. The first step for me was I had to eliminate alcohol, caffeine and sugar from my diet for at least 2-3 months before FET

Omega 3 during pregnancy
Hello! I wondered if you could help me. I usually take Pregnacare with the additional Omega 3. Recently I bought the basic Pregnacare with no Omega 3. I need to buy omega 3 separately. In the Pregnacare packets, the dosage is 600mg at the chemist the dosage of Omega3 is 1000mg. As that too much for pregnancy

rash with meds
I am taking Ursodiol for my PBC and now I have a rash on my face. It comes and goes, but never completely goes away. Anyone else have this problem? Any tips or hints. I don't eat red meat, nothing with white flour, no white potato's, just lots of salads, fruit, fish and seafood.

Update on progress
Well, thought I would just send out a quick update on how I have got on this week. I had two appointments, one with a physio and then my dexa scan. Both were very positive in as much as I came away feeling supported and encouraged to keep going. Physio is suggesting a referral to a rheumatologist so
