Dizziness
The past couple weeks have been great. I dare say most of my anxiety symptoms are gone but the dizziness persists. I’m left wondering if it’s my Zoloft or the anxiety. I didn’t have dizziness until I upped my dose to 150 since then I’ve gone back down to 125 but it hasn’t subsided much. Anyone have

Update - 8 weeks of injections and some new symptoms
Hi, I am having injections from last 8 weeks and have seen improvements in some areas. Blurred vision has improved and so does night vision. But shimmering effect is still there. Eyes try to move around the focused object and it feels like words have slight to and fro motion. This is probably the strangest

Vitamins and Minerals
I am 4 weeks into my Pred, currently at 15mg and about to drop to 12.5 tomorrow. I refused to take Alendronic Acid mainly because of the terrible potential side effects, and have decided to up my Vitamin and Mineral levels. At the moment I take Calcium, Vitamin D3, Magnesium and K2 plus a general multivitamin

Energenesis
Here is a new supplement which has most of everything that isn’t a vitamin or mineral in it. Expensive but maybe convenient if you want to try all these things at once? https://www.theenergyblueprint.com/energenesis “Energenesis is like a 5-star MEAL for your Mitochondria (LOADED with rare nutrients

Tranexamic Acid?
I have been given this by the doctors today, I take it and half an hour later I seem to be really sleepy and out of it. Anyone else experience this whilst on the meds?

When to stop Co-Q10/ubiquinone/ubiquinol?
Hello lovely ladies, I am due to start my priming in three days, and stimming in about 15-20 days. This time, along with the preconception multivitamin and the extra Vitamin D, I have also been taking omega-3 and Co-Q10 (in the ubiquinone form). On "It starts with the egg" the author seems to say to

Tapering following new PMR diagnosis
Hi, so glad I found this wonderful forum, I've learned so much in the past 2 weeks. My question concerns tapering and levels of pain that can be "ignored". I am 70 years old and until the middle of March was a fit walker, gardener and could still reach to cut my own toenails. I was lucky enough to

I am somewhat of a fanatic about the use of free

and
amino
acid derivatives, because those substances have helped me in 3 major ways: muscle/connective tissue repair, immune system improvement, sleep quality.

Breathless and difficult digestion. Other autoimmune?
Hi everyone. I wonder what advice you might have for a guy wrestling with Hashimoto's. My main symptoms are fatigue, exertion to breath, bloating, sometimes it can be tiring to stand but I don't know if this is more to do with being bloated and breathless. finally, although it seldom quells my appetite

Stopping vitamin supplements before a thyroid test
I am due for an annual thyroid test as my medication needs reviewing. I take vitamin D, omega 3 (fish oil), magnesium glycinate and vitamin B complex supplements. I know that I should stop taking the vitamin B tablets as they contain biotin but what about the other supplements? Should I stop taking them

A strange meal in an Italian restaurant
I was in London over the weekend supporting friends and family running the London Marathon. At the end we went to an Italian restaurant that had a couple of vegan options, but these did not appeal since they seemed heavy in nightshade plants. So I ordered 3 side dishes to come together as a main meal

Steroid injection for OA in shoulder
I experienced severe pain in shoulder at 8mg of Pred, and increasing dose had no affect. An X-ray showed bone on bone OA. I continued with taper now on 7mg. and shoulder pain has virtually gone. I think it flared up with too much use on recent holiday, and existing conditions do tend to assert themselves

Dreaded AA again !
I do not understand why Alendronic acid is still being prescribed. Having been diagnosed with osteoporosis, I took it for about 6 years which is now known to be far too long. As a result I sustained fractures in both femurs, a year apart, both now pinned but definitely stated as caused by AA. I

Itchy Scalp for months - slightly hair thinning but no visible scalp issues.
For the last 5 months, I have been suffering from an itchy scalp, primarily on the crown of my head. This happened essentially overnight and after scratching for a day, I coincidentally saw that my hair had thinned slightly in those itchiest areas by the next day. I went to see a General Practioner a
