Still no joy from Doctor 🤦
After sending my private blood results to Dr refused to increase levo had phone appointment, kept insisting TSH suppressed & danger of osteoporosis. I tried to keep calm to explain my thoughts & where I'd research my information. Dr then asked which lab I'd used & where was it..... Quite upset/annoyed

change of Levo from Accord/Actavis to Vencamil
I posted back in August about 100mcgm Accord/Actavis levothyroxine as I was feeling pretty awful. My Blood results showed that my T4 result was only 32% through range. Normally it would be around 65% through range. I also take 15mcgm Sigma Pharma liothyronine. The result for T3 was 83% through range

Probiotic with Levothyroxine
I take my levothyroxine before bed, I’ve just read it’s more beneficial to take probiotics at night rather than in the morning. My question is would the probiotic interfere with my thyroid meds?

Levothyroxine side effects? eg Tachycardia known?
Since reduction of thyroid medication, previous cardio disturbances like jittery feeling, flutters, missing beats, ectopics and tachycardia have correspondingly reduced ... indeed almost disappeared. Any similar experiences known?

Dr Antony Toft Thyroid specialist re treating some patients with combi of T3 to their Levo can somebody send me the link please
Hi All, I have a GP call today on the back of a pretty scathing consultant F/u letter, with the aim to get me off NDT (agreed by previous Consultant) to raise my TSH by giving me a lower dose of Levo. An all too familiar story I know. That said this is a new GP who possibly knows very little about DIO2

Is anyone still having difficulty getting Wockhardt Levothyroxine?
As I glumly predicted, following allergic reactions to several brands of levothyroxine, my GP has flat out refused to reissue a prescription for Brillpharma liquid levothyroxine. Cost. To get it installed as a regular prescription will require me going back to the hospital allergy department and making

When is best day of my cycle to get Female Hormone Test done if perimenopausal?
Getting a Female Hormone test done to see if my hormones are causing the fatigue rather than the hypothyroidism, as weakness & fatigue has got worse since taking Levothyroxine. The test is to check the main female hormones except projestorone. I was going to get it with Medichecks. When is the best day

Morning Temperature!
Can someone clarify the following: Is it the case that our morning temperature - before we get out of bed remains the same and that if it drops below this particular level that our thyroid is struggling and that gives us a good indication of that. Maybe I have picked this up wrong. As only recently

Endo's blood test approach- advice please?
Hi all,I have been given a trial of T3 from a private Endo with the view of doing a blood test in 8 weeks to check progress. His instruction was to take the last dose of both my Levo and T3 four hours before blood draw and he did not seem bothered about whether I ate or not before the test or the time
