GP note to Endo... I wonder how this will pan out... Update added
I'd received the ominous text after a blood test (which was supposed to be for all the useful vits & mins etc turns out you don't get them if they were within range last year??? 🫤) so just TSH then!... "your blood test is showing that you are still overtreated we shall be contacting your Endo

when to take T3 if already taking levothyroxine
hi. I’ve just received my T3 (Tiromel) and I’ve been advised that my dose is 5MG daily. I take 50 MG levothyroxine on waking each day. When is best to take the T3? At the same time? Is food/caffeine/other medication to be avoided for a few hours after similar to the levothyroxine? Thanks!

3 monthly blood test.
I had my Levo increased to 75mg in September & have had to wait 3months for a follow up blood test & this is what I got, I would be grateful if someone could have a look at it & let me know if everything looks ok…well I say everything but unfortunately my Gp doesn’t like to test for everything very often

Hypothyroidism and levothyroxine treatment only inadequate?
I had a bad experience on levothyroxine only. I am now on T3 but not optimal yet although much better than I was on the levo.I had to go to hospital appointment regarding my dupuytrens contracture, and the doctor, who was going through my medications list, asked why I wasn't on levothyroxine. I told

Help!
Above are my bloods since diagnosis and as you can see they are all over the place. I felt best on 100/75 Levo and 2 x 5 Lio but my endo has reduced this as my TSH was suppressed. When I say I felt best - I've never felt great, always poor sleep tired, hair and nails a mess and other thyroid symptoms

repeat prescription via NHS app
Today is day 20 of my monthly Levo prescription. I used to order two weeks before running out but the surgery got funny about it and said I can only order a week before running out so I make sure I order on day 20. Using the NHS app to request repeat prescription this morning it failed to go through

Help with results please. Been feeling awful
These are my blood results from last week. I'm 44 and currently take 75mg Levothyroxine and 10mg of Liothyronine every morning and up until a few months ago it seemed to be working well so my endocrinologist wanted to see me every 6 months instead of 3 but the last few months I've been feeling lethargic

Is this normal, really feel like throwing in the towel, again.
My last test results (around 8 weeks ago) showed I was almost optimally medicated. I was using Levo at 50 snd t3 at 6 and getting chest pains on exertion but kept on as I felt slightly better than when I started., but only slightly. I raised my Levo by 12.5 and the usual happened - brain fog, exceptionally

total thyroidectomy, 20 years ago
Hi I’m I 55-year-old white male. I had a total thyroidectomy approximately 20 years ago it was removed because it grew very large and was choking me , it had grown down into my chest cavity, and also around my trachea. I take 150 µg of levothyroxine per day. Apparently I’m in the normal range. I find

TSH post levo raise - how low can you go?
Hello again, I've been on a mini trial of raising my levo by 12.5mcg / day for 8 weeks in hope of raising T3 and losing a bit of weight. Is TSH of 0.13 (0.27-4.2) too low? I feel great and weight has been going down gently. The Dr's report from Medichecks says only if I experience overactive symptoms

What do I do next? Is this T3 results low?
Hi all, just had my latest results from Medichecks, TSH is low, T3 and T4 normal. Tests were done 9am following the usual recommended protocol. The comments with the results suggests I'm perhaps over medicated and could be at risk of osteoporosis due to the low TSH. Is that right? They suggest perhaps

Advice on iron status
Hi lovely people, I was hoping to get some advice on my iron status. A bit of background, I have just recently increased levo to 88mcg a couple of weeks ago, and was on 75mcg before that. So, I am aware that my thyroid hormone is still too low. It's a slow process getting docs to increase! My question

Early Pregnancy & Hashimoto
I have just had my first ever positive HPT after 5 years of TTC and 2 failed IVF cycles. I have calculated that I am approximately 6 weeks pregnant. I was diagnosed with hashimoto Thyroditis roughly 2 years ago and have been on 100mcg levothyroxine since. My last bloods came back normal in early November
