just wondering whether anyone knows if Thyroxine affects ESR blood test results. Having taken higher dose of thyroxine for a few weeks now my TSH has reduced considerably from 4.62 to 1.6 but an ESR blood test was done at the same time and is now above the reference range and registered at 24. Good morning all Firstly I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that responded to my posts and shared their experiences over the last few weeks (sorry I've not managed to reply to everyone but I have read your responses). It's been an incredibly anxious time and just doesn't get any easier the more

Low Cortisol Symptoms Hid Lymphoma
Reduction of steroids—Extreme exhaustion, loss of appetite and weight, weakness, dry coughing, numb chin. All but the numb chin could be symptoms of low cortisol. A lower spine MRI to find a pinched nerve that had been hurting my glute resulted in an immediate call from radiologist to get to ER

Hello everyone, I have been a reader of the forum for a while now and it is nice to know so many other people are struggling with un-resolved thyroid problems. This forum was the first place where I thought wow, these guys get it. I have hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome, I was diagnosed with MS

Addison's disease
I stopped taking Abiraterone three months ago to have a vacation. Was on it for six years. I tapered of the prednisone. I became very fatigued. Could hardly do anything in the morning and then limited things in the afternoon. then I thought of my low cortisol level (due to the abi) a couple years ago

Urgent help please - feeling total despair - think I'm going crazy after stopping and restarting levothyroxine - blood results included
Hi, This won't be the full story as I don't want to to make the post too long and hard/annoying to read. It's already going to be too long. RAI for Graves around 11 years ago. Never felt good on T4 since. Normal dose around 100 micrograms plus around 12.5 micrograms a couple of times a week. Mostly stopped

are hot flushes associated with hypothyroidism?
I’m in the process of being investigated for hypothyroidism, after a couple of private blood tests, most recent showing TSH of 5.06 mIU/l, free T3 of 3.9 pmol/l, free T4 14.3 pmol/l, TPO Ab 41.7 kIU/l My GP has been very supportive and has me booked for these tests to be repeated on the NHS to confirm

Where to go next? Please help!
Hi all Firstly, sorry for the length post. I’m desperate for advice… We’ve just had a failed cycle at ARGC. 3 blasts sent for PGT-A testing, all come back abnormal. The follow-up consultation was extremely thorough. We’ve had karyotype tests (normal), hysteroscopy (normal), at beginning of cycle: FSH
