Allergy unknown
I need advice on a suspected allergy. Recently at the weekend I was at work, and a colleague of mine used my headset to take a call on my phone. Afterwards she gave me my headset back and I noticed my ear which was in contact with the headset had became very itchy. This soon spread to my throat, and

Allergies
I have had four allergic reactions in 15 days, plus a similar one a year ago. My lips and throat swell, I itch all over and get blotches. I have had anti-histamines but they don't seem to work that well, three times I had to go to the doctor for an injection, and today my doctor has given me a 5 day

Food allergy and intolerance myth buster by NHS Choices
Hi everyone, the other day I saw this tool about allergy and intolerance on the NHS Choices website! If you get confused with the differences between allergy and intolerance, have a go with the questionnaire (it only takes a few minutes!): http://www.nhs.uk/Tools/Pages/Food-allergy-myth-buster.aspx

Hay fever, asthma and running.
Hi guys, Wondering if anyone else is struggling to run with hay fever this year? It has made my asthma worse and I can't complete my runs outside any more. I started running on a treadmill (1% incline) for a few weeks instead and got to around week 8 then had to take a few weeks off due to a knee injury

Food sensitivity testing
Hi all, it's my first questions on here so please be gentle.lol. I have been totally GF for 4 months now and am also looking at dairy as I am still reacting to something. I am a autoimmune thyroid patient and am mainly managing my own health problems due to the lack of knowledge from GP's and consultants

Hayfever
So grateful for the rain... I went for a run on Friday after a full week of forced rest - I did try running once but felt too dizzy - and had to stop after 3 minutes. Has anyone found it difficult to run with hayfever? Any tips? -I try to avoid anti-histamines and am trying the cider vinegar "cure"

Fillers causing allergies
I recently posted regarding feeling unwell on thyroxine and recieved several responses from members having similar problems. The ingriedients that seem to causes the most problems in thyroid medication are Acacia and lactose, which can make allergies alot worse or cause them. I am currently taking Actavis

I have suffered from IBS-D for about a year and a half and in some sort of pain/discomfort all the time (the pain varies from mild to severe) even though I am also having medication but still trying to find the right dosage. Severe asthma evolving to something more severe?!?!
Having had severe asthma for a few years I have recently had a severe allergic reaction to peanuts. As I was in the hospital I was outright told it was a anaphalaxis and a nut allergy. I had full body hives and gradually became breathless and very asthmatic the following day (ultimately I had to use

Is it all right to take allergy medicine with levothyroxine?
I have severe upper respiratory allergies, and right now the pollen is making me miserable. I take my thyroxine immediately upon arising and the rest of my morning medicines and supplements with breakfast after arriving at work (about 90 minutes later). Soon after leaving the house, I start coughing.
