Had my allergy results today.... Unsurprisingly I'm allergic to dust, grass and tree pollen The doctor suggested I just go and get an anti-histamine will this lower my high ige count? (I could have just gone and done that anyway)

Histamine?????
Just an inquire, has anyone ever had their allergies tested? After the nurse poked me about 75 times. The hiistamin did not work. They had to take blood and sent it to the mayo clinic to test and see what I am allergic to. I was just wonderen if any one else has not had a reaction to histamine. I think

Cat Allergies
My partner has really bad allergies to cats and antihistamines don't seem to help with this. Is there anything else he can take or any strong type of antihistamines? Any advice would really help, Thank you.

air purifier
Hello all, my son has asthma and allergic rhinitis (dust mites allergy) and I am wondering if we should get an air purifier to help with symptoms. Has anyone tried them and have they helped/ not helped? Thanks so much for sharing your experiences!

Dustmites as a trigger?
My son has had a cough when he gets into bed for 10 months now and is increasingly needing his blue inhaler after exercise. To cut a very long story short he had a skin prick test last week which showed no airbourne allergies which was a surprise to us. My question is: Can dust mites trigger an asthma

Had a bad day.
I would like to put my hands around the neck of the person who decided that I needed hay fever, eczema, allergies, anaphylaxis, IBS, trochanteric bursitis in both hips and RA. All I will say is that they wouldn't survive! Today no mini bus from the car park, had to walk to the bus stop. I started first

Week 3 for me!
Just into week 3. Have been uploading my calories etc to nutracheck. Still don't feel I know what I'm doing yet. Have joined the Monday weigh-in and have been going to the gym. I have lost a little weight & amazingly 5cm off my waist. But have many food intolerances/allergies so am often swollen.

NHS Food allergy testing, Is it reliable?
Hello everyone, one last question (sorry) I have finally got a food allergy skin testing appointment (for next year) Apparently if you think you are allergic to fruit or veg, you have to bring the fruit and veg along - If I knew what I was allergic to then I wouldn't need the test. Is this reliable
