Sun/Hayfever... advice
Just wondered, it’s beautiful in UK right now, who wouldn’t want to run in the outdoors when it’s this nice... but... how are people coping with the sun and hayfever? I get watery eyes, itchy eyes and squinting from sun hitting my eyes 👀. Advice/Tips?

Albuterol Sulfate
I have been using Albuterol for years because of seasonal allergies. But this year when my spring allergies started I started using my inhaler, and after about 2 weeks I got hives. Doctor gave me prednisone for 6 days and they went away, and now the hives are coming back. Do you think it's possible

Microfibre Allergy?
I'm a lifelong asthmatic - have had issues with microfibre-filled quilts, pillows etc. I don't see how I could have an allergy to this but it sure feels like it! Trying to sleep with this is almost as bad as feather pillows, to which I have a very high allergy. These days it's hard to get quilts and

Avamys
Hi, does anyone else have Avamys nasal spray issues? My husband has so far found it by far the best for his hay fever and sinus issues, but was today told at the pharmacy that it cannot be got hold of due to manufacturing issues or something. He has tried Beconase in the past but really ran into trouble

Keeping going... Slowly
After running with the hayfever kicking in badly I spoke to a nurse I know who also suffers and she gave good advice. I'm still running outside but have gone back to using the app and on the early weeks 3/4 on high pollen days, this way my chest & eyes don't do too bad. I'm actually enjoying the runs

Hayfever and asthma attacks
So my asthma has been fairly well behaved this winter. Then pollen season strikes! I take Fexofenadine prescribed for hayfever as well as usual Flutiform and occasional Salbutamol as needed. Last day or so I have really struggled when out and about. Today have had a few bad attacks and am now left with

Asthma and new puppy
I'm 37 and have hayfever for close to 20 years. A week ago we got a puppy and almost immediately I had a strong reaction to it. I was hoping it was just a coincidence and it was just my regular hayfever. It got worse and I've ended up on steroids and been given an inhaler as my peak flow is about half

Finally getting somewhere!
Hey guys! I recently posted in here regarding my lack of asthma diagnosis- I had been fobbed off for almost a year (for breathing issues linked to severe allergies) with doctors telling me that I must be anxious, stressed or depressed (because I don't wheeze), despite me pleading with them to believe

Healthy Eating With Severe Food Allergies
Hello everyone, I am new to all of this. I have been searching everywhere online for different websites, articles, forums, etc. that would help with my problem. I am interesting in eating healthier, but i have a major dilema. I have food allergies. Not just any, but specifically allrgies to raw fruits

IgE mediated allergies now non-IgE mediated.
Having been considered a severe and difficult asthmatic (previously brittle) for over 20 years, I have struggled to get anywhere really. This year they decided to retry Xolair which had previously given me suicidal ideation but now my IgE is only 33, which is ok but my RAST tests have come back practically

To wait until review or see someone sooner?
Hi, My next review is due in June. My asthma is always worse from March-August due to hayfever. Usually only June-July is a real problem. In March I may wake up with a tight chest occasionally but it goes after 2 puffs of salbutamol. Otherwise I'll only notice a problem with real exertion e.g. I can

Excessive Nasal Congrstion
It’s a constant with me as well. I have found that a steroid nasal spray Fluticasone helps open me up and another drying spray has helped tremendously. I too suffer from airborne and food allergies but have found some positive relief from these additions.
