Hi, I'm new here, been using Symbicort for about 9 months now, but symptoms of my asthma are still here. I'm 57 quite fit, run everyday , and had very mild symptoms of asthma for years and used my ventolin now and again. But for about 9 months now, I get this like tickling feel of asthma no wheezing

**Moderator comment: please be aware that supplements like this could be a trigger for asthma for some people. They are not a replacement for your usual medication and you should always check with a qualified healthcare professional like your GP or asthma nurse that supplements don't interact with

Asthma getting worse as spring allergies increase
I was recently given a new inhaler to take along with Dulera,Ventolin, and singular - it is called Inspiolto Respimat.I was wondering if that means my asthma is getting worse? The new puffer is for COPD, but I don't have that.

Discussion with pharmacist
Last Friday when I went to collect my prescription I was told by the pharmacist that she had requested my prescription be reviewed. Apparently Incruse Ellipta and Montelukast should not be on prescription together (I'm also on the high dose Relvar). She wanted to know what I was being treated for Copd

IGE Blood test results in severe asthma?
Does anyone know if it’s ok to have normal full count IGE levels in severe asthma? Do they shoot up in exacerbations? What tests you need to prove severe asthma in tertiary centres?I believe Synacthen is one of them to check steroid resistance is there any other specific to check once having exacerbation

Hello, I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma in Jan 2022 and since then have tried various inhalers. I’m currently on Luforbec using the MART regime, so twice a day as standard and then when needed before exercise. I’ve also been taking Montelukast for the last six months. However my asthma still

Flying with asthma: humidity of air on a plane
Hi all, I just have returned from an international trip from hell. Thankfully, I was able cut my trip short when I felt I was deteriorating, and a friend drove me to the airport. I might share the story later, but for now I just wanted to share some data I got on air humidity on the plane (there is

I have been approved for this as I have

and EILO. I'm currently permanently on Prednisone as inhalers do not work for me and hoping with these injections to be able at some point come off Prednisone. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Temporary Asthma
Hi Everyone. I contracted a virus 21 days ago. Fever, flu and a bad cough that turned into pressure in my left lung and I started feeling short of breath. The pulmonologist called it airway hyperactivity and its temporary because the air is extremely polluted in my city and he prescribed symbicort powder

Do I even have asthma?
I've struggled with breathing issues for years on and off, but part of me is now wondering if it's all just anxiety/ reflux related. I had lung function tests which all came back normal (FEV1/ FVC ratio 85%, Feno 10 at most, best peak flow is 500 and its never really different when I'm having a shortness
