Allergies
Hi I've only been diagnosed with hypothyroidism for six months but in that time my hay fever like allergy has completely gone. I've gone from one anti histamine pill a day to none so that's good. At the moment not feeling too bad but when my doctor upped my dosage after 3 months i had a lot of symptoms

Antibiotics curing asthma
Has anyone heard of antibiotics curing asthma? I read a blog and part of a book about how a doctor helps patients with severe asthma completely cure it with antibiotics. This type of asthma is due to a virus called Chlamydia pneumoniae. I think you can test for it and was just curious if anyone’s had

Thank you for your replies to my Gemcitabine query very helpful. My next query is less worrying but very annoying since I started treatment last year I have had a definite change to my sense of smell and taste and being a real ‘foody’ I found this to be one of the more frustrating sides of this whole

What next?
Hello All! I was diagnosed with "mild persistent asthma" this past April and am still having symptoms almost every day. I have improved since April, but now generally it's just tightness/breathlessness and productive coughing that lasts for about an hour every morning. I generally have no issue sleeping

Useless GP's. I don't trust them anymore with managing my asthma and health!
At my doctors appointment today, I had a new doctor who was very dismissive of all of my health conditions. One of the things he said was 'there is nothing seriously wrong with you'. Does brittle asthma not come under that catagory? if i have an attack i can guarantee i'm liekly to end up in intensive

I’m really annoyed as this has controlled my
allergic
asthma
so well over the last three years. Within a day of switching I have so much mucus and a drop in peak flow.

Air conditioning has given me asthma
Hi I got diagnosed with asthma a month ago I used to work in air conditoning building and pretty much every day I used to come home being ill. This is frightening as I am a healthy person, I exercise everyday and eat healthy but as soon as I go anywhere near air conditioning my asthma triggers off

Blooming hayfever
Set the alarm for six ready for the big scary 20 mins run and ...an hour and a half later, still waiting for my hay fever to settle so I can breathe when I’m running. It’s going to be a hot day and that means that I won’t be able to run until the evening. Best laid plans and all that!x

Bad Asthma for three months
I’be had asthma for the last three months that means I don’t sleep properly and have difficulty walking. I keep going back to my gp and have had 4 courses of steroids. Each time I take steroids I get better but then it returns. Taking inhalers as well. On Friday asked if I could see a respiratory doctor

Hysterectomy / Gallbladder
Hi everyone, so I am seeing my gynae soon for a review, I have been on the waiting list for a hysterectomy, removal of both ovaries and excision. I am having daily bleeding, had TCRE and removal of polyps but didn't help. Large chocolate cysts on both ovaries and extensive endo/adhesions everywhere,

Anxiety and asthma
Can severe anxiety + physical symptoms flare up my asthma/breathing problems? I find myself short of breath while walking and even sitting most of the time. Also have a very dry cough.

Hi all, I'm new to the Endo group. I was diagnosed in February this year whilst having my appendix removed. They found stage 4 Endo.
