When to take bisoprolol ?
Hi , My husband is on 7.5 in the morning and I’ve reduced him to 5 in the evening as he has been so tired all the time . They only upped it by 2.5 when I rang heart function nurse when his ecg on his watch was creeping up to 130 . He was on digoxin before which seemed to keep his ecg around 89/90 but

PBC or fatty liver
Does this sound like fatty liver or PBC? I was diagnosed 9 years ago with mild fatty liver. They were checking for PBC because I had a ama m2 of 69 and a mildly elevated Alt. I lost weight and my Alt came down. US showed an enlarged liver and biopsy showed only mild fatty liver. I went back to Hepa last

FYI: New data on progression of visceral mets without PSA progression (discordance) and ARAT/docetaxel therapy
Interesting study, folks. We know physical progression of PCa (i.e., new metastases) can occur without PSA progression. This is known as a discordance. But we don't know how often it occurs or why it occurs. In these instances, our greatest fear is "therapy-induced neuroendocrine prostate cancer

Possible lupus???
Had graves years ago, was brought on by pregnancy, it levelled itself out. I went to the doctors to get bloods as I thought it maybe back. My Thyriod has came back fine, however my Immunoglobulin G and M levels are high.. I'm calling the doctors tomorrow, but wondered if this could be a sign of lupus

Endo/cyst on the kidney after MRI - could this happen to you?
Hi ladies! The results came in for the first MRI (still waiting for the results of the second MRI). A cyst was spotted on one of my kidneys and the blood test indicated issues with my kidneys. I know this might indicate deep infiltrating endometriosis on the kidney/ureter or... I know that endo can lead

low heart rate
hi, I was in hospital 6 weeks ago with a bad attack of A Fib. Came as a shock as I’d had palpitations on and off for a few seconds but nothing lasting hours. I was given Bisopropol and edoxaban to go along with the Ramipril and Amlodopine I was already on. The beta blocker must have worked as I went

Sjogren's and eyes
I suffer with sjogren's and have been seen by many eye Dr's at my local hospital that is Addenbrooke's Cambridge. The last Dr I saw told me I had tried everything I could try. My eye's have been reasonably good on very calm days but a windy day upsets them and now the colder weather. The thought

Brain metastasis
New (Portuguese) anecdotal case study below. [1] When I began reading PCa studies on PubMed, I saw a lot of cell studies that used LNCaP (from a lymph PCa cell), PC3 (from a bone PCa cell) &/or DU145 (supposedly a brain met cell, but now described as "derived from a central nervous system metastasis

Cortisol/DHEA results
Hi I recently had a Regenerus test, due to my frequent adrenaline surges, and just feeling generally awful. To be honest, I thought the results were going to say my cortisol was high, but I think the results suggest the opposite? Could anyone take a look and let me know? Cortisol AM30 24 nmol
