Would All Autoimmune Diseases Have a Positive ANA? Low White Blood Cell Count
Hi, everyone. I'm not quite sure if this belongs in this group, but I know it's very active and worth asking. Admins, please let me know if you'd like me to remove it. So about a year ago (maybe a year and a half now), I noticed I was having unexplained weight loss (now about 30% of my total BW!!).

Yet another blood tests results
Hi guys, after my concerns with previous blood results (from endo), I went to see my new GP and asked if any of it can be addressed. Initially I found her to be more perceptive than any other doctor before. After showing her my results and describing my symptoms she ordered her own blood tests altogether

Hello all, I wonder could anyone spare a few minutes to give me advice. I was admitted to A&E last Friday by a walk-in centre doctor because of my chest pain. The blood test are all normal apart of - Alanine aminotransferase level : 309 iu/l -- normal range should be 0 - 40 My GP contacted me on Monday

Waiting for ANA results
I'm 46 and have been having spells of unwellness throughout my life. At 18 I was in hospital for weeks with HSP & ongoing kidney issues which got better in time. I was told that it was quite rare to get HSP as an adult & I would never get it again. I've had many bouts throughout my adulthood some more

Help with test results and what to do...........
Apologies in advance as this may seem a long post. Below are my three recent sets of test results - following the March 2017 results my GP placed me on a low dose (25mg) of Levothyroxine. Following the June results, I saw my GP as I was experiencing dizzy spells and tiredness, which were new symptoms

Ultrasound Vs Fibroscan

Nervo Spinal Cord Stimulation
I am new to the site. I am considering the use of the Nervo device to relieve my pain. I am signed up for the trial next month and I wonder if anyone who has had experience with the device would share the benefits and any bad news.

So they want to change my diagnosis again!
Today I had my six monthly review. A very nice man who very apologetically said "I don't think you have Lupus as a primary". Now just a quick background.(sorry for those who have heard this). Seen by a local Proffessor in 2000 with initial joint issues and shaking fever. Diagnosis: RA. 2005 I didn't

Ocaliva and side effects
Hi all, URSO isn't working for me as it should. I was diagnosed 2 years ago and my Alk phos results was over 1000. They are now at 299 but still not reducing as they should. I've been offered to change to Ocaliva or to take part in a clinical trial. I'm concerned about the side effects of Ocaliva but

St John's Wort (SJW)
An intriguing post about St John's Wort (SJW), etc. The potencies for the uptake inhibition of NA, DA and 5-HT were 30, 7 and 1, respectively. The results indicate that the SJW Ze 117 extract interferes in three ways with the individual uptakes of the relevant neurotransmitters

DRUG INTERACTIONS?
Hi. Steff here. I'm a 68 year old female who has been fairly healthy all my life apart from problems with depression. I now have a range of awful symptoms which have come on suddenly around March of this year. My rheumatologist says I have 'lupus like symptoms' and suspects this could have been caused

Lab results
My latest labs are : IgG= 671, ALT= 79, AST= 71, M2=69. 9 and Alkaline phosphate is 138. I often have a positive ANA but was normal this time. Liver enzymes fluctuate. Maybe I will hear from liver scan this week. 😩
