Just had my first long awaited hospital appointment and now feel totally deflated and frustrated after a patronising consultation . Ever get the feeling they have made their mind up before you go through the door, it didnt help when she asked where I worked and told her I am a nurse working in the hospital

Hello, I hope everyone is doing great! I've never had any symptoms (no hair loss, joint pains, fever, fatigue etc.) and I only showed positive ANA after a neurological irelevant blood test. My neurologist ordered ALL the antibodies (ENA, b2, ANCA, AMA etc.) and they are all negative. But he said I should

Lupus diagnosis Incorrect???
Hi guys, i came on here back in june to talk about how i was diagnosed with SLE with only a positive ana and clinical symptoms, my rheumatologist at the time said even if my further blood tests came back positive this is most likely the diagnosis since lupus can take forever to show in the blood work

Hi everyone, I haven't been here for a while!
I've got about a year or so history of blood tests showing my thyroid levels not being quite right; I have been discharged by the endocrinology department and my GP has said she is unable to get me medication as it goes against NHS guidelines. My latest blood tests were: TSH 1.18 (range 0.27 - 4.2) T4

Help Please: Blood test results for my Ma... speaking to a Dr tomorrow, Wednesday...many thanks for your help.
Hello Folks, My Ma takes levo. She was started on it at the beginning of this year, on the minimal dose. She is also now experiencing serious hair loss which is very upsetting to her, though nobody seems to be too bothered at the new surgery. Our surgery closed down in March. All our Dr's have disappeared

Hello everyone, People with PV/ET regularly (e.g., per month) test their blood to keep track of cell counts and other things. How about bone marrow biopsy (BMB)? Are there repeats of BMB test to check changes after the first one that was performed to detect any mutation like JK2 ? If yes, how the results
