Is there a link with taking Forstair and cataracts?
I was diagnosed with late onset asthma just before the first Covid lockdown. My eyes were always fine until then, but within a year of taking Forstair I was diagnosed with cataracts in both eyes. My research suggests the steroid in the inhaler might be responsible, but it has been dismissed by my GP

Hi,I was diagnosed with mild asthma in 20 14, but rarely needed blue inhaler. During the pandemic I fell ill with a tubo ovarian abcess which I was hospitalised for week . This made me quite ill for a few months and as a result I didn't exercise as much and gained some weight. After everything went back

better sleep after using fostair
As I have problems with the side effects of Fostair I use it about 5-6 AM and then go back to sleep. But I am starting to notice that I sleep so much better after the 2 puffs. Last night I had hardly any sleep mainly because of worries but after using the inhaler I slept for the next 4 hours and

Fostair side effects
I was prescribed Fostair Nexhaler for asthma - no wheezing, no coughing, never had an asthma attack. I used the inhaler for around a month, during which time I had aches and cramps in my calf muscles, hand tremors and felt unusually sad. I stopped using the inhaler and during my next appointment with

Asthma review
Just had my asthma review over the phone with a lovely women she has prescribed me a new inhaler it's like a combination of brown and blue, it's a white and red and I really hope it helps because my asthma is really rubbish at the moment because I constantly sound like I have a cold ❄ I sounded terrible

Temporary Asthma
I caught cold 20 days back. Fever, Flu and brutal cough and then started feeling shortness of breath with strange pinched pressure on my left lung and when I inhaled I could hear crackles. I visited chest physician he said its hyperactivity of airways and gave me symbicort for 2 weeks with montelukast

Hello, I was diagnosed with exercise induced asthma in Jan 2022 and since then have tried various inhalers. I’m currently on Luforbec using the MART regime, so twice a day as standard and then when needed before exercise. I’ve also been taking Montelukast for the last six months. However my asthma still

One year stem cell transplant anniversary
This week a year ago I received my donor's stem cells. For those of you not following my posts, it was hard going in the early months but by late June things were looking a lot better both mentally and physically and my hair started its return.. My platelets were one of the slowest things to recover

Temporary Asthma
Hi Everyone. I contracted a virus 21 days ago. Fever, flu and a bad cough that turned into pressure in my left lung and I started feeling short of breath. The pulmonologist called it airway hyperactivity and its temporary because the air is extremely polluted in my city and he prescribed symbicort powder

I have adult onset asthma at age 60. ( I’m now 64) 6 weeks ago I cut out one of my 2 steroid inhalers to see if I could manage without it as if I can’t I’ve been recommended a biologic. I had not been walking about or doing any exercise for 10 weeks as I had a foot op so as my main symptom is breathlessness

recurrent fungal infections & reaction to probiotics
I have been on the same dose of Levothyroxine for about 13 months (212.5mcg) and seem to be doing ok thyroid wise. However, I have had a fungal infection in my nails and excessive gas for as long as I can remember, and I get recurring fungal infections on my face, scalp, back, chest and feet. Last year

did an interesting exercise yesterday!
So, while I wait ( oh so very patiently) for my Respiratory O/P appointment to arrive ( original referral sent by GP on 31 August 2022) I decided, in the hope that I get to see a more enlightened Consultant than my old one, to write out the saga of my dealings with their department since I first saw

has anyone had back pain while using this? Also, does Incruse Elipta increase peak flow? I’m new to using inhalers . I’ve been trying various ones out as I have very mild emphysema and very mild bronchiectasis. I have multiple blood clots in my lungs which were diagnosed 13 months ago but they aren
