Looking for good NDT prescribing doctor in south west UK or UK generally
can anyone please PM me details of a doctor who can prescribe NDT, preferably in south west UK but can be elsewhere in UK if they are good. I need someone who wont under medicate. I’ve seen the thyroid list but would value people’s personal feedback on doctors please. Thanks.

The doctor has recommended me for

NDT on NHS
Hi everyone 😊 I just wanted to ask if there was anyone out there who gets their NDT prescribed by the NHS? I am having the argument with my GP at the moment, as I don’t convert, but just wanted to know if anyone out there had managed to get it from their NHS doctor. Thanks

leg weakness with prolapse
Hi. I have been suffering from incontinence back pain, weak legs, very painful to have sex for years at least 12 if not more. I was always very fit. I have two sons who I played squash with swam 100 lengths of our local pool every morning before going to work in my full time job where I lifted heavy

How long does it take for NDT Thyroid-S to leave your system?
I've got to book in for my annual blood test with my GP. I had my thyroid fully removed in 2008 & I'm on T3 only 20mcg 3 X day.A few months ago I swapped to NDT Thyroid-S & I've stopped taking my T3. I feel better than I've felt in years. My question is how long does it take for NDT Thyroid-S to leave

Levo Hell Now NDT - How Do I Instigate Tribunial?
Thank you for this forum - it has been a light in dark times. You are all fabulous and I thank you for sharing. I just had 8 months of our hell from day one on Levothyroxine. Felt sick, heart racing, couldn’t think straight, breathless heart wheezy, very dark suicidal thoughts, lost my whole life

Travel insurance and prostate cancer
I have had HIFU for prostate cancer that was only partially successful. Subsequently my PSA started to rise again so I was treated 5 years ago with docetaxel followed by decapeptyl hormone therapy starting 4 years ago. I want to go on holiday. Can anyone recommend a travel insurance company that will

looking for a reliable source
I live in the US so any suggestions where I can order T3 /T4 from would be appreciated. I have a dr that I've been going to on and off for years and he's retiring soon and no one is taking over his practice. He's primarily a "diet" dr clinic which is cheaper than going the endo way and believes in NDT

Is it useful to get a PSMA-PET scan with low volume cancer, newly castration resistant and PSA below 1?
I was not taking
ADT
at the time of those two scans. I was castration sensitive at the time of all those scans. I am now castration resistant and psa six weeks ago was .33 (up from .14&.20 in August). I don't mind doing the PSMA-PET scan again if it is of value.

Hashi's & Menopause/HRT - weight loss help!
Hi all, I have Hashimoto's and have been on levo 75mg with combined HRT (oestrogen patch and progesterone pill) for a few years. Had a total hysterectomy almost 2 years ago, but they left my ovaries, due to extensive endo, adenomyosis and fibroids. But I have literally been stuck in limbo since then

A whole bunch of crap happening and does it add up?
That and the
ADT
SEs seem to mask each other. Think that at times our medical specialization prevents looking at the big picture. Or maybe it needs to start earlier. Make sure you tell your doctors every thing you can think. Make a list of questions or symptoms.

Best use of Psa to guide intermittent hormone therapy
presently on relugolix + Darolutamide for local reccurrence and will go off these drugs if Psa is less than .65 three months ago tested and go back on when Psa reaches 3-5.. Seems it will be about 6months and hopefully 6 months off, Tentative protocol so far. Input from all and for all welcomed. Thanks

Has anyone had radiotherapy but then also managed
ADT
but as a disabled person and wheelchair user with a lifetime of low muscle strength from polio or similar? The recurring theme is that without

the risk of recurrence is very high if not certain.
