PSA Nadir 6 Months After Primary RT Correlates With Prostate Cancer Outcomes — Or does it?, MedPage Today May 22, 2024
The results showed that a PSA >0.1 ng/mL after neoadjuvant
ADT
and before RT was highly prognostic.

considering stopping adt/abiraterone to see what happens
it’s been 8 months since I found myself to have a PSA of 70, it is now 0.0 and I am due for the
ADT
injection. I have coupled standard treatment with rife, mushrooms, ivermectin, fenbendazole, apricot seeds, green tea, vit e, graviola.

PCA Cure and when?
PSA is 0 on
ADT
and Abiraterone and methylprednisolone. Averaged 8,600 steps/day. I have just started to add occasional sprinting. I am taking multiple supplements. I am greatful that my PSA is 0. I work everyday and pray for a cure. What is our best hope for a cure and when?

Unexpected early end to ADT
As I wrestled with this decision, the thought of getting back to who I was before the
ADT
started seemed pretty damn good! And I am motivated and excited to rebuild my body and mind. Thoughts?

Questions about progesterone and prostate cancer
My onco continues to resist prescribing low dose E2 to help minimize some of my
ADT
SEs. Following my last appointment he suggested progesterone as an alternative. - Has anybody here had success with using progesterone while on
ADT
? - Any reasons to steer clear of progesterone? Thanks

Scary PSA results
Started
ADT
on November 9. Did 28 sessions of IMRT from Feb 12, 2024, to Mar 21, 2024. Nadir was .8 on Mar 26 and then the last two have been 1.5 and 3.1. RO said 2.8 was the "something more needs to be done marker" I am seeing MO next week. What questions should I be asking?

Pluvicto damaging salivary glands?
Now on
ADT
holiday since 1-1-24, psa unmeasurable so far. During the treatment, had increasingly serious drymouth and nasal congestion and irritation with bleeding, which I attributed to radiation damage. Since then, there has been some, slow improvement, but still not right yet.

At the crossroads (again)
My profile is up to date, but, briefly, have failed chemo,
ADT
(am castrate resistant), failed Keytruda and now Pluvicto. Scans yest. & today show progression along with PSA rise. All my mets are in bone. So, my SOC choices are cabazataxel or radium 223.

Should the dose of Dutasteride be increased?
STEP 2: Add Dutasteride to
ADT
. We know that using the standard dose of 0.5 mg/day of Dutasteride reduces DHT by 94% (reduction factor = 16.7 X). I believe that this 94% reduction will synergistically magnify the % reduction from doing Lupron
ADT
.

Guess what? Your body has changed and will never be the same.
ADT
makes it harder so, you have to suck it up, put on your big boy pants and work boots and get at it!

Another brother passes
Failed
ADT
, chemo and Pluvicto. He was not on this forum. He was very active, skied 120 days a year, biked the rest. He and his wife went to Europe every year. One year to ski and the next to bike. He lived a full life, and that is all we can ask.

6 months after MRI Guided SBRT at MSK
My testosterone recovery was pretty rapid and the

symptoms started to clear about a month after I finished my last pill. I had my post-treatment labwork two weeks ago which was six months after radiation treatments and four months following the end of
ADT

Age and timing for Triplet therapy?
I started
ADT
with Ogovyx 4 weeks ago and feel no side effects so far. The urologist has set up the addition of the ARI Erleada in 3 weeks, though I would now prefer Nubeqa because it does not cross the blood-brain barrier.

Rising PSA
ADT
on and off. Recently while on Lupron & NUBEQA PSA continues to rise. Now at 10.1 and Testosterone nondectable. PSMA/PET/CT scan last weeks states no metastases present. We meet with Dr. Aggarwal next week.

ADT for almost 2 years
Well, I have gone through surgery, radiotherapy,
ADT
, since my diagnosis in February 2018. It will be 2 years in February next since I started
ADT
and PSA has always been <0.01, but a couple of day ago it came at 0.03.
