Just joined the group, wanted to say hello and give some details of my 'SVT'
Hi, my name is Gail, I'm 60 and have had SVT for the last 10 years. Looking back I had an episode during my first pregnancy but it went off after an hour or so and I forgot all about it. I seem to have 'attacks' roughly 2 or 3 times a year and I am sure that bending down suddenly, stress (high adrenalin

Why does RLS disappear upon standing.? I don't have clue. Believe it or not ;)
I read some older articles about how epinephrine and norepinephrine levels rise (somewhat dramatically) but NOT dopamine when we go from a supine position to a standing one. I have no idea if this is why our RLS is relieved upon standing.

Still trying to work through this maze
I mentioned previously that i susspected vasculitis in addition to my diagnosis of Hashimotos. Having done some research on Vasculitis people talk about the surge that i get through my body which makes me feel very ill, they have explained it as a kind of adrenalin feeling which i can relate to. That

Really not sure how that happened!
The burst of speed shocked me a little, I was a sprinter at school but I haven't felt the rush of
adrenaline
of pushing myself like that for a long time! I crossed the imaginary line and reached for my watch! But what was this? 25.19? Surely that's wrong? How on earth is that possible?

Hi All, At the dentist's yesterday the anaesthetic started my heart beating rapidly and then my hands started to shake.
Thankfully, it all calmed down in a couple of minutes but left me with a complaining heart for the night- faster than normal pulse rate and lots of bumps and ectopic beats and as well as feeling as if I had been pulled through a hedge backwards. Apparently, it was due to adrenalin getting into the blood

How odd! I'm missing running!
But then, once the
adrenaline
my right knee started to misbehave. So much so that for three days I struggled walking up and down stairs, and although it has improved a bit, there's no way I'm going to risk running until it's completely healed.

Why am I so Hyper on such a tiny dose of T3
Is that down to the Adrenals or maybe
Adrenaline
? I have being taking lots of supplements, the only ones I was missing was Selenium & Vitamin E - so I have ordered them. I am so confused. T3 does alot of good but is it that causing the problems. Any information would be really great.

Does anyone else get Mild chest pains And short of breath only when the heart rate is slow-below 50. Symptoms are more severe when in AF.
It was certainly scary enough to get the
adrenaline
flowing and push my heart rate way up (120). I went to the doctor in the morning, back in rhythm of course (hate disturbing people at night) who sent me to hospital where they put me on an overnight monitor to see how low my pulse rate was going.

Terrible run. Could it be my shoes?
I did have gait analysis and was recommended Brooks
Adrenaline
GTS to correct my gait but they're £90! Bit much to see if they work!

Anybody else not sleeping?
I know it's early but I haven't slept at all for 3 or 4 nights and i thought id try going up early tonight. I don't usually post on here but I often read the very encouraging words. How do I calm myself? Im obviously trying too hard to sleep. My heart is pounding in my chest and I have an almighty headache
