Adrenalin rushes in?
I have noticed various internet forums on autonomic dysfunction where people talk about "
adrenaline
bursts" and/or "catecholamine dumping" . I've had a cortisol level done last year, and a couple of thyroid (LSH, T3 and T4) levels done in the past, but not in any systematic way.

Physio No.1 says run every day; physio No.2 says don't run at all :(
No impact exercise - it’s too much of a stimulant,
adrenaline
hormones are a no-no. And no weights. Only gentle stretching and a brisk walk at night. I've got to do mindfulness exercises for a month as part of a ‘programme’ that's going to get rid of this eventually….

Can't stop panicking
Every time I close my eyes I'm overwhelmed with
adrenaline
a pounding heart and a lump in my throat. Can't calm down at all I keep saying that it's just anxiety and it will pass but my mind is saying the complete opposite. Any advice on how people calm down or how to cope??

Stop doing this to yourself.
You have become scared of the effects of
adrenaline
. You have become scared of the very thing that is trying to protect you. You fear the feelings of fear which.......produces more adrenalin, more fear, and so the cycle goes on and on. What is it protecting you from? Who knows?

Dental appointment, adrenaline-free jabs and AF
I was able to ask about
adrenaline
-free injections to prevent heart arrhythmia. She said that there wasn't enough
adrenaline
in the HALF sized amount used. It would take THREE to have an effect. I left with a frozen gum, a new filling, a steady heartbeat and a lighter wallet.

Root canal with adrenalin free local anaesthetic
Hi to everybody who responded to me last week when I asked about this. I had my first r/canal appointment yesterday, which went really well, according to the endontologist, although it took three hours!! It had been slightly more challenging than she anticipated. She had consulted with my GP about

Dentistry - 'noradrenaline'?
Is it what I want, or just another name for
adrenaline
injections, to be avoided if at all possible? Thank you!

Off of all medication
Soo I went back to the doctor mainly about my hiatal hernia pain, but he brought up the fact that I have
adrenaline
built up in my body that decides to release at random.

New shoes!
My current shoes are Brooks
Adrenaline
GTS 17, designed for over-pronators, which I've always been told is what I do. Mike measured my feet - length and width - twice. I stood on a bit of perspex over a slanted mirror to check my arches (?).

Dental treatment and local anaesthetic
Hi guys--I'm going to have a root canal filling next week. I've read that people with PAF should have a local anaesthetic which doesn't contain any type of adrenalin as this can bring on A Fib. Anyone have experience with this?? My GP couldn't give me an answer and told me just to discuss it with

Learn to live with anxiety and you'll be able to live without it.
On the contrary, all that extra
adrenaline
your body released as a result of the extra stress and strain of fighting only made your nervous system more sensitised still. If you're digging yourself into a hole, the first thing to do is stop digging.

Can Someone Help me Better Manage?
When I get the
adrenaline
is when I have flashes of feeling “unsafe” which people have said is common with anxiety. Does anyone have any tips on how I could better manage these issues and feel safe using my whole house again not be confined to my room? Thank you so much

W8R2: A gal with a plan
A wee bit nerve wracking (as I run early, in the dark), but got the old
adrenaline
going! I love stories, and I love running, so to combine the two was brilliant! Hope you all have lovely days. The sun is shining in London Town, and I have a spring in my step! Sadie-runs (away from zombies) 😘

Finally! I got myself a mighty fine pair of trail shoes!
Been hankering after a pair for ages. Because of my broad feet I ended up with a pair of mens, but a brilliant fit so all is good! I have promised myself to do more trail runs so now I have no excuse. Took them out for a quick 4k grassie, hilly run to try them out. Beautiful running weather here today

I feel....
I feel like my heart is very sensitive to
adrenaline
(stress hormone) . Eventhough I got the tests clear , my heart rate rises by a slight fear or panic . This makes me convinced that my heart is weak
