Struggling into a new self image
I'd take it very sporadically, due to a fear of addiction (I am prone to this as well as all
adrenaline
related activities). Most recently though, I've surrendered to more regular dosage of my medicine as well as giving myself permission to take it in the first place without guilt or judgment.

How to change your attitude towards anxiety which leads to recovery
Recovery from anxiety is all about a change in attitude towards the symptoms you fear and/or how you feel about anxiety. This change comes about by gaining a better understanding of anxiety and how it can affect you. The more you understand, the less you will fear what is happening to you. The symptoms

Prednisolone diary 10 - a disastrous experiment
Pred increases the sensitivity of
adrenaline
receptors, and the symptoms of the episodes are very similar to those of a severe, prolonged panic attack.

Birthday over - I did have a good go at the beer and wine yesterday no doubt, but can you believe that in a tiny corner of my scrambled mind was a little voice saying "don't go mad - you have to run tomorrow". Which in fact means that I have already gone mad. Imagine that, prioritising running over

Autonomic crises?
These crises may be caused by an imbalance between sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems, whereby the activation of the
adrenaline
system by the sympathetic NS is triggered by small triggers, and rather than being inhibited by the parasympathetic NS, the activation runs on, or is even enhanced

Dental work
Have any of you had any problems with having the novacaine at the dentist with epinephrine? Prior to getting diagnosed with afib, I had cavities filled and after the shot, my blood pressure and heart went up. The dentist at the time thought it was due to it accidently getting in a blood vessel. Now

Anxiety/ split second dizziness/ brain ‘jolts’
I am very tense, neck and head ache, intense pressure in my head and sinuses as well as frightening momentary jolts of disequilibrium and dizziness, almost like a quick terrifying surge of
adrenaline
. I have terrible health anxiety and I’m a nurse which doesn’t help as I see the worst or the worst.

Could past emotional trauma have a part to play?
The long term effects of heightened
adrenaline
, which if you're living like this, feels "normal", is physically destructive in the long term.

Adrenal support post from Izabella Wentz
The body's energy is shifted from doing "useless" things like growing beautiful hair, metabolizing, making hormones, digesting and repairing itself, and instead, all of the body's resources are reserved to make cortisol and
adrenaline
that is pumped through our veins so that we can keep going.

Is it anxiety or more
Does anyone wake up really startled just before they're ready to fall asleep with a racing heart and almost a feeling of
adrenaline
that hits hard in their gut , really hard, followed by a racing heart that's really scary how fast it's beating can anyone else relate to this?

Strange Moods Worsening
By 2017 I'd get sometimes an intense almost
adrenaline
rush like sensation, unfortunately felt really uncomfortable & tense. Would usually dissipate In minutes or hours. I've (this year) self harmed.

I hate anxiety
When the panic subsides, the
adrenaline
charge is still there. People suggest walking or exercising. Don’t they know I am afraid to move, much less get out of bed?
