It is almost like the perfect storm, My ADHD + My
Addiction
issues + My Childhood Abandonment issues+ My Wife who also shares some codependency traits = my brain is going crazy. I really just wanted to share because it does help to type it out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-UOVYx9_wk

My (ridiculously long) Monsal Trail race report (in two parts) ...
They are legendary folk to me; I hold them (along with a few special others such as the late Iannodatruffe and roseabi ) very much responsible for my enduring
addiction
to, and passion for, running.

I'm new here. Turning 42 years old next year. Just want to get a better life for my 2 kids. Have ADHD.
I have had a BIG porn
addiction
since I was 15 years old too. It's been on and off though. It's been a long time since I've stopped watching that filth. My dopamine is fried though. It's been so long that it will take some time to heal my dopamine receptors.

Taking this opiate for so long means my body has built an resistance to its effectiveness and not to mention physical and mental
addiction
, but is the only med I have found that helps the pain.

To live in the Borderlands
We could identify as Christian but also struggle with
addiction
. Anything that makes you guilty, shame, hypocrite even. Some days, it is still hard. I will go back to the borderland and there may be a part of me that will always visit.

Helpful article for those who love someone who is dying of alcoholic liver disease
Hello, everyone — This article might be helpful for anyone who is watching a loved one die from alcohol
addiction
disease, and it’s subsequent effect on the liver. It’s stunningly honest and frank, and faces head-on some issues that are difficult to talk about.

Pregalabin
I’ve had many issues with diazepam
addiction
. Finally got off them but was getting viscous stomach cramps. Went to the doctor and she prescribed Pregalabin. It worked after a while but I started to feel weird.

Pain medication advise - Gabapentin
I called my GP and what I got was a lecture on opioid
addiction
. To cut a long story short she was as helpful as a chocolate teapot. She has prescribed me gabapentin. Looking this up on Google this is for nerve pain. I am not sure if this is the correct prescription.

Desperately looking for an amazing ADHD psychologist/therapist/coach. Ideally with decades of experience and a serious degree.
He is also an active marijuana user and has (as many ADHD kids) been through meth
addiction
stage which he managed to overcome. We have Kaiser as insurance but their attention to his condition is embarrassingly negligible not to say detrimental.

is this normal?
I always ask myself, is this
addiction
or routine. I don’t crave it throughout the day and I don’t experience any physical symptoms, but the idea of not having any one evening does cause stress and I can’t sleep as well.

Coping with the pain
I know drs are reluctant to give out stronger pain medication due to
addiction
reasons. I wanted a review of my medication but she wouldn't even do that.she said she was going to refer me back to the Gynaecologist, but looking at my notes she hasn't done that either.

Dementia?
She has been under a lot of stress and we lost my sister ( to whom she was a carer) to
addiction
last Christmas. She has probably shown signs for a year really but I was putting it down to the stress that the situation with my sister was causing.

with Adderall? My 9yr old son is just starting with it so very curious/concerned.

Creepy Lady at my Job
My coworker knows this person as they dated her brother, who passed from
addiction
. And it's clear that this woman is also struggling with
addiction
. Come to find out she came for money and a ride. She sounded desperate.
