How Safe are Holland & Barrett Supplements?
Hi I've noticed a few times on here that people have stated to be 'careful' with Holland & Barrett. I'm unsure if this means there are gluten ingredients, non-declared gluten ingredients or cross-contamination risk, so looking for clarification on people's experience. My reason for asking this is having

Bread and phytates: vitamin & calcium absorption
Can anyone advise on a point which is confusing me at the moment: I have learned that certain foods inhibit the absorption of calcium and vitamin D3 in the bones (phytates). I have stopped eating all bran at breakfast because it contains wheat grain and not whole grain. Looking at all the bread I eat

Timing of Pred dose and adrenal recovery
PMR diagnosed March 2019. I had successfully tapered down to 7.5mg by October, but then seemed to get stuck for 3 months. Every time I tried 7.00, pains returned. However, since mid-January, I have been able to get to 7.00 and am now slowly tapering to 6.5. Experimenting early on led to my taking

This is about MS but could this apply to any autoimmune condition
I was doing my usual trawl for Vit D protocol updates and came across this from 2009. Nothing has changed in 11 years but the conclusion of the study suggests that many thousands of people could have escaped the misery of MS. MS is a devastating neurodegenerative disease that imposes heavy burdens
