Lorenzo's Oil Revisited
Chances are you don't take it. I investigated it thoroughly and even had a decent source secured. I only opted out when I was told it would nullify my medical insurance. Depending on whatever scientific report you read it either doesn't work, or stops/reverses progression if you start taking it before

Methionine restricted diet for recurring PSA and positive PMSA pet scan w/ 1 bone met
quick to the point. PSMA pet showed 1 L2 small met and some lymph activity. My PSA went from 2.01 to 2.9 in one month. after doing some research on diets and supplements . I found that the keto diet is extremely high in the amino acid methionine and I made it worse trying to reduce my blood pressure

Has anyone done an Organic Acid Test(OAT)?
I’ve been doing a lot of testing lately to determine what I should be eating or supplementing. The OAT will test methylation, b vitamins, oxalates, Mitochondria, amino acids and more. It also tests some neurotransmitters related to dopamine but understanding how I can use that information is above my

OCALIVA
Hello! Anyone is taking OCALIVA in addition to Ursodiol to lower ALP? Does it work? Do you have any side-effects? How long have you been taking it? My ALP jump quite a bit and my doctor mentioned OCALIVA. I don't like what I read about the side-effects. I'd appreciate your input. Thanks!

Amino acid complex, is it worth trying?
I have been seeing more and more about amino acids and the possible benefits for those with hypothyroidism. Their importance for conversion, also their benefits regarding liver health. I'm also type2 diabetic, it seems there may be benefits there too. Have any of you looked into this? If so are there

I take 10mgs in the morning and 20 about 7.00pm (any later and it doesn't work). This led to an improvement, but my sleep

Should vit D supplements be adjusted when we are out and about in sunshine? Are amino acids worth taking as supplements? All stuff I come across in random readings. Thanks.

Alendronic Acid
I wondered if there is a suggestion on how long one should take Alendronic Acid. I started when i was about 64 ( I am now 79). I worked as a nurse in the interventional Radiology department and when the new dexa scan arrived all females working were able to have a scan to give a little more experience

Is anyone here familiar with metabolomic analysis?
I've heard about metabolomics only recently while listening to a Dr Berg podcast. In short, if I understood correctly, it differs from regular blood tests by looking for the concentration of things (like amino acids, minerals, polyphenol, etc...) within your cells rather than the concentration in your

Alendronic Acid
When I saw a new rhuemy yesterday she mentioned Alendronic Acid. I had not heard of it. I take Calcium D3 because a DXA scan showed osteopenia in my lower back. Would Alendronic Acid be helpful with Calcium D3 or instead of it?

R-alpha Lipoic Acid
I read in the Autumn 2023 ME Association magazine that R-Alpha Lipoic Acid could be helpful for someone with ME. I use Methotrexate for my RA. Has anyone used this supplement with Methotrexate?

Hello everyone... A month ago I posted after being concerned about a raised organic serum level. 1.89. After a change of diet and a retest there is no significant difference it’s now 1.84. The normal range is 1.40. All other bone profile and renal rests are fine as is the parathyroid level. I know
