Acne, or something more serious?
Hi there, thanks for reading this. I'm a little worried as I have noticed a rash of what appears to be acne, across the upper side of my right thigh (see pic). There is a cluster of red bumps, on the pores of the skin. The skin itself feels quite tender and itchy. I am worried because I already have

Opinions on Isotretinoin
Hi I'm new on here due to my dermatologist asking me to do my own research into this drug. Ive read the info from the nhs and have taken in the possible side effects. The consultant did explain that this was quite a big step up from the doxycycline I have been taking, which hasn't touched the adult acne

Persistent Back Acne
hey, I've been suffering with back acne for about two years now and it just won't shift! It's not consisting of whiteheads or blackheads, just sore red bumps and I've been applying witch hazel for a while, as I do with my face, but this makes them itch. My face has no acne at all, but my back acne is

I would like to make a comment regarding acne that seems to go hand in hand with PA. I used to have beautiful skin but it changed with PA symptoms at its worse. I got fed up of having antibiotics and acne never clearing. I found a facial wash called cetaphil my pharmacist said was only thing his wife

Hi Anyone found any creams etc work for their pcos acne ? When I went docs my skin was having a rare good day, I don't think the doctor took me seriously . I hate having bad skin, I never used to have spots. I got offered Yasmin or dianette. I am scared to put on weight or get worse if I take the pill

CT3M
I know members here have used the CT3M method successfully, and I'd love to hear about your experiences. I managed to wean myself off Medrol (prescribed for adrenal fatigue in late 2011) about a year ago. HC never worked for me as it metabolised too quickly. I was diagnosed with adrenal fatigue based

What happens when line can't get through for tace?
What is usually the cause of getting to theatre for tace, line going in but not being able to get to the part they need to treat so they cannot do it? Are there alternatives?

After posting about her seeming to regress after 10 initial loading doses ( not had the blood results back, but I think it was low potassium as now so much better after high intake of potassium rich foods and coconut water ) she has quite suddenly broken

Constantly getting hard spots under my skin
I am losing the will to live with my skin as I am consistently getting those hard lump spots under my skin. They are very sore and I get around 3 a week. My skin is extremely oily and I really take care of it by using creams and I drink 3litres of water a day, eat healthily and exercise often. When I

Injections
I was recently diagnosed with wet macular degeneration, I am 38 years old. I am receiving injections and I am wondering how much pain afterward is normal. For a full day or longer I feel as tho my eye is simultaneously on fire and about to explode. That is as close to describing it as I can. It is to

Awful acne, endometriosis and I have to avoid the combined pill!
I got diagnosed with endometriosis in December last year after 6 years of me knowing I had it, but doctors telling me I was too young to get tested. I'm now almost 23. The reason for me writing this post is because I am trying to find something to help my endo but also help my terrible acne. My acne

Treatment for acne when TTC?
Hi, Since being diagnosed with PCOS I have taken co-ciprodynol (diannet) which has controlled my acne amazingly. I have now stopped taking the pill as I am trying to concive. However my acne is now returning. I'm just wondering if anyone has found any treatment to which works for acne whilst trying
