Just been told I have two years to live.
Male, age 73, Eligard injections,
Abiraterone
and Predisnone for four and a half years, some radiotherapy. PSA levels initially 69, brought down to 7 by
Abiraterone
. Suddenly stopped working. Went on Radium 233 trial. Never again, and it didn't work.

Best time to take Abiraterone/Zytiga
So father takes
abiraterone
1000mg in morning 6.30am and sleeps again for 0.5 to 1 hrs , then after freshen up takes his breakfast around 8.30 am. I want ur valuable inputs that if sleep after
abiraterone
consumption could negatively affect drug absorption ??

Could I try BAT to restore sensitivity to previously used antiandrogen treatments.
I failed
Abiraterone
and SOC doesn't allow the switch to Enzalutamide. I was reading on the use of BAT to resensitize mCRPC. Would this be a therapy that could work or is it too late now that I have failed. I know its not SOC but I am running out of choices and looking for some clarity.

Has Anyone Heard that it’s More Common that Patients on Abiraterone (Zytiga) are more prone to their PC morphing into Neuroendocrine ?
I read a post today that it’s more common that patients on
Abiraterone
(Zytiga) are more prone to their Prostate Cancer morphing into Neuroendocrine Carcinoma? Is this true? Any other Medications that are prone to have it Morp into Neuroendocrine Carcinoma ?

Radium223 has not been a success, is Enzalutamide a good next option?
Had 6 cycles of Chemo and then
Abiraterone
for 18+ months (PSA dropped to 0.2 then more recently rose to 58 in June '23 ).
Abiraterone
eventually stopped working and I was able to join Radium 223 trial.

Abiraterone - alternatives
Only 3 months after completing 6 rounds of Docetaxel my husband was put on Abi as his onco felt the chemo had been unsuccessful. However the onco is now saying he will pull him off the Abi as his PSA has doubled for the each of the 2 months he’s been on it. In the UK once you’ve been on Abi for 3 months

paxlovid and abiraterone
I read on here in the past some of you said that you can’t take paxlovid with
abiraterone
? He is on that, flomax and lupron. I know it’s better to take paxlovid before it gets much worse. We can’t reach the doctor till tomorrow, so I was just curious what you all have learned.

Tumor Mutation Burden
Will increased TMB require the addition of PARP inhibitors to my current therapy consisting of Loupron and
Abiraterone
? Anyone has similar experience? My history can be seen under bio. Just to add that I had 6 Pluvicto treatments with undetectable PSA since 12/22.

how fit can one be on ADT and abiraterone?
I have been on Lupron and
abiraterone
for less than two months and I have gone from doing 50 consecutive push ips to 10. I am slim on KETO diet but am disenchanted with the lack of ability to maintain any muscle. How much strength can be maintained on these meds?

My son’s PSA rose a bit today.
His Mayo doctor told him to continue to test every three months, stay on current meds Lupron,
Abiraterone
/prednisone for another year and two months then stop meds and wait and see with lifetime testing. He had an RP last October 24 2022 for what we thought was contained prostate cancer .

Elevated liver enzymes
Additionally, I'm curious about the number of alternative medications that exist after
abiraterone
. Thank you for your insights.
