Help and advice regarding management of surgical menopause at 27 years old?
Hiya, I'm 27 years old, just been diagnosed with early stage uterine cancer and as it's estrogen positive, I will be unable to commence hormone replacement therapy after my hysterectomy (inc. uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes and removal of both ovaries). Any advice and help on how to mentally prepare

Hi I had a TLH in 2017 at 32 years of age, due to my Endometriosis, during the last few years since I’ve had niggling pains but the last few weeks I’ve been having chronic pains in my left or right sides and my back and a feeling of heaviness all the same as before my hysterectomy. My Dr has said she

Been informed i have stage 4 endo which has knocked me for 6 . I am about to start the hormone

I've been crying a lot during chemo
Since I've undergone a full hysterectomy, I started chemo in August. I've had times of the month, similar to pms. I've been crying a lot, and can't cope with questions and generally teasing me about my emotional instability... Taking jokes too personally, and literally crying for three days straight.

RLS and it’s woes
Hi everyone. As a RLS sufferer for years I have tried magnesium iron supplements. Acupuncture mats Gabapenten and for the lack of sleep Clonazepam. My mainstay is ropinirole now up to 2mgs per day which makes my vision blurred and augmentation. Ropinirole is failing. I find the symptoms are timely

Questions I asked my consultant - Are the answers red flags?
Hi everyone, I have my first Laparoscopy coming up on the 15th October and after reading a lot on here and elsewhere, I felt I hadn't actually been told a lot about the procedure by my consultant. So today I sent a list of questions over to the consultants PA (and explained I was aware so much is dependant
