Any advice regarding hemorrhaging
I am in such a mess. I went for a hysterectomy on 5th September due to large fibroids and flooding. When they got in they found endometriosis scar lesions have attached my cervix to my bowel and left ovary. They didn't touch it and I was offered Zoladex instead which I declined as the side effects put

donāt know what to think anymore.
Hi all, I posted on here little while ago about my mum having total abdo hysterectomy for ovarian cancer. We are now 3 weeks on from surgery. a 10cm cyst was removed which at the time, they assumed it was cancer. We went to her results and biopsy results yesterday. We were all extremely shocked

Treated like 'Outsiders'
Diagnosed after lengthy amount of time undergoing symptoms and GP suggesting it may be 'all in the mind'... or menopausal (even knowing had full hysterectomy in my forties so way past that!)... eventually it took a distressed woman losing her hair, eyebrows and experiencing brain fog for doctor to 'guess

prostap hrt and hysterectomy
Hi Iām looking for some advice, Iāve always suffered with my periods since starting them. Iāve tried lots of different contraceptives and found Iām really sensitive. Iāve had 3 children and donāt plan to have any more. I had an ablation done in 2021 which reduced bleeding but made pain more intense

Anyone have side effects from omenectomy?
Hi everyone, Iām after some advice. Iāve decided to have a preventative total hysterectomy with salpingo-oopherectomy (one ovary is already gone with my OC tumor - Iām one year NED so far). I also have endometriosis too, so Iām hoping this helps stop that pain too. My procedure, together with a hernia

Hi all Iām a type 2 diabetic, age 62, previous hysterectomy. I get recurring water infections and often the dipstick shows that up and nearly as many times Iām told no infection. I class myself as having painful bladder syndrome though thatās never been confirmed. My question today is that often along

Pressure on bladder - non typical uti symptoms
Last week, my mum started feeling sore "down there" She started getting up for a wee, a couple of times in the night. She doesn't have burning when urinating, and is passing normal amounts of urine. What she mainly feels is a pressure feeling in her groin...which is worse just after a wee. It seems

bleeding 3 years after total hysterectomy
Hello guys , has anyone experienced this at all ? I had total hysterectomy in 2021 out my cervix and uterus taken out . The two ovaries were left because it was stuck to bladder and would cause more complications since bladder specialist wasnāt in the room . I was put on triptorelin on and off till last

Recovering well
Some of you may recall I was going in for a total hysterectomy. I am 10 days post op, doing well and the lupus seems to be behaving itself. Bloods were all good but as many of you will agree, they are not always a good indicator. Talking of blood, having a complete nightmare trying to get my INR back

Life after hysterectomy
Hello, I have been to see my consultant and he has given me a couple of options going forward one being a full hysterectomy. After 27 years I am wanting something a little more permanent. My question is how have people got on after a hysterectomy, has this totally relieved your symptoms or do you still
