Feel lost - need advice on treatment given that pain is back less than two years after laparoscopy. How many laps is 'normal'?
I am 39 and was diagnosed with endometriosis in 2017. After years of telling doctors my period pains matched the symptoms for endo but being told it couldn't be, I finally was ill enough to find a surgeon privately. He was so certain I had endo that he didn't do a diagnostic laparoscopy and went straight

Menopause and mega sweats
Hi Guys, I need some advice before I flip. I started my menopause over a year ago. It wasn't too bad to start with, but now........well. I had a hysterectomy around 10yrs ago, but my ovaries were left. Anyway, To start with I used a lot of natural remedies, including the lady magnet, which all worked

I have it for about 14 years, and had physiotherapy and pessary fitting etc. The pessary helped a bit but was so sore having it removed,

Hi all I’ve been reading posts occasionally in here since I was diagnosed with OC in March. I’m 44 yrs old and to this point actively healthy. I’m happily married and have 3 beautiful daughters 18,15 and 7. I had a cyst finding in early February and was referred to an onc gyn. She suggested I get a lap

Awaiting hysterectomy for adnexal mass, cat 3 from scan ca125 score 1
I've been told I have a cat3 (high risk) mass on my right ovary and i need it removing . Opted for full hysterectomy as I'm 49 and already had menopause and kids so figured it best all come out now. Ca125 was only 1 but I'm still on the urgent list due to scan result. Just got my date for surgery - 8th

Hysterectomy and RA
My daughter has R A which is pretty well controlled but has to have a hysterectomy because of pre-cancerous cells. She has been told that she is high risk and is naturally concerned for her daughter's welfare. Has anyone any experience of similar and advice to pass on? We would appreciate your comments

Borderline Ovarian Tumours and pregnancy
Hello, last month I had stage 3 borderline ovarian tumour removed and 1 and a half ovaries. I am 30, I am not finished having children (one son), hence the surgeon tried to leave half an ovary. He has recommend hysterectomy ASAP, and to not consider any more children. What confuses me is borderline

Surgery and Hydroxy
Hi my MPN family, I have not been to well lately, feeling full on the smallest amount of food, my stomach being bloated and when I did eat it was like someone blowing through a straw in my stomach and creating lots of bubbles. Well, I phoned my doctor at 1 yesterday and was in her office by 1.30.
