Treatment 1rst reccurrence update

Update! So I've done 4 cicles of Gemzar, carboplatin, avastin. After 3rd cicle Ca125 went down from 744 to 92, 💪🙏 almost the value I had on October 2021, when it first raised, Yesterday I did my 4th cicle, few side effects overall, working, hanging out, normal life 🥰, tired some days after chemo.

Waiting for PET scan results this week 🙏 (I'm going through my 1rst reccurrence un varius areas of the peritoneum). I was first diagnosed 2019, stage 1 fallopian tube cancer, had 6 cicles of carboplatin, paclitaxel on 2020. Reccurrence confirmed January 2022.

Best of luck to you, I was diagnosed in 2015 , ovarian cancer had surgery and chemo,carboplatin and taxol, like you I had a recurrence fairly quickly in 2017 so had more surgery and chemo, gemzar, thankfully everything has been good since. Had my regular CT scan in March and no active cancer . Hope your pet scan goes well

Just wondering how your scan went. Hoping you got good news. Carbo/Gemzar was the combo for my recurrence and I’ve been NED since 2008. Hoping the same for you.

Hi Gwen! Thanks for asking 🤗 it went almost all away 🥰 my marker went from 744 to 22 and scan showed 3 possible spots no measurable very low metabolic activity. 3 months later Now, my marker raised to 66 🙄 , so I'm afraid it is growing again. I'll keep you posted !! They Sent me Avastin for 1 year, I may start that una couple of weeks
