Recurring pain?

On a break from 20 months of chemo maintenance - the neurological damage has taken its toll. I've only skipped two treatments (two months) but feel stabbing pangs in my abdomen. Have others felt pain when cancer is recurring?

It could be several things that are causing you pain, it could be the cancer has come back normally signified by a tumour appearing or it could be that part of the heal hasn't happend fully process is slow can take a while for the inner part of the body to heal. Hope you have mentioned it to your Oncology team a scan would determine the cause of your pain.

Thank you. Should have mentioned I was originally diagnosed Stage IV Type B, underwent huge debunking surgery and after my first round, the "remission" only lasted five months. I only knew because of my CA125. I fear this time it is more aggressive if these stabbing pangs are related. They are the same pain I had when diagnosed the first time. Hate to resume chemo - it was killing my nervous system and bone marrow...

I have had the same experience as you. In the throws of stomach pain but also just started Doxil. Hard to know but I sympathize. My intestines hurt

I had a recurrence that was discovered during a follow up physical exam. I had no discomfort or any signals anything was going on. Consult with your oncologist first and foremost, of course. It could be evidence of something going on...or not. Hang in there.
