Hi There!Sorry you have to be here but it’s a really, honest great group. If you have any questions or concerns, post something and the lovely folks here will chime in. My first post was about my coworkers pestering me about how I am doing. I receive so much great advice, and everyone just —- understands.

Take care - Tara 🙂

Welcome to you! There are many members from the U.K. as well as the U.S.A. The rest of us are from many countries including Canada, Israel, France, etc.

When you post your questions, it is useful if you indicate your type of breast cancer, and the location of your mets. What we all have in common is metastatic breast cancer (MBC), and its impacts on our lives. Where we differ is in terms of the treatments recommended for us by our oncologists, and these mostly are linked to the type and locations of our MBC. We share our experiences and find support from each other.

I hope this helps you figure out how being on this site may be useful to you.

Hugs,

Cindy

Hello and welcome!

Sorry that your going through this but you’ve found a great group for support and advice. It can take a while to find your ground. I’m also fairly new to this all…being 8 months in from a de novo diagnosis. Of course its natural to feel uncertain initially , but life with MBC becomes your new normal pretty soon.

Take care and best wishes

I’d like to add my welcome- I am 60, also in UK, had MBC for 4 years, doing well. It’s fine to be a “silent” member for a while, getting used to it and drawing on the collective wisdom when it helps. We will look forward to getting to know you newbies.
