Does anyone know where I can get additional co-pay assistance for my ibrance. Somehow I ran out of money from the co pay assistance program in December I now owe a balance of $800 and my insurance company won't release my medication until I pay the balance owes. Any suggestions
would help. Thank you!

I have that but I went over the alloted amount last year so I still have a balance from last year and my pharmacy will not release my prescription until the amount is paid.
My onc is at a big university hospital. Their specialty pharmacy found me private grant money for over 3 years while I was on Ibrance. I never did a thing. I would think your doctor's office should be able to help or perhaps the social worker at your hospital. Have you asked your doctor how to find financial assistance. Someone in his/her office should know how to look financial help.
If you have commercial insurance, the insurance company (assuming that the Ibrance comes to you from a specialty pharmacy) should be calling the copay assistance to reactivate the card. Or you can google Ibrance online and there should be a phone number to call for copay assistance. If you have Medicare, Medicaid or live in Massachusetts, you can no longer use the copay card and will have to apply for assistance through the manufacturer which most likely be based on household income. I’d start with calling your pharmacy to get the copay card reloaded for you. If they are no help, they can give you your ID number and the phone number to reach the copay card company.
Yes,I get assistance from Patient Advocacy Foundation Co Pay Assistance Fund you can go on line or call them 1 866 512 3861.It is simple and quick appoval. They will guide you through the process.
I get copay assistance from The Assistance Fund, but I have to reapply every Dec because assistance goes from Jan to Dec. check them out and maybe you can apply there.
Your doctor gets free samples and should be able to give you at least a month or two while you figure out how to pay then yes there are lots of places that have grants in the hospital or doctor should have a list of those grants available to you even some churches do it. And my doctor filled out all the paperwork I didn’t do a darn thing so look into that as well!
I have commercial insurance and receive Ibrance through the specialty pharmacy (Accredo). They automatically enroll me in the patient assistance program that pays $20K a year regardless of income. Perhaps, you can apply as well.
However, if I read you post right you owe money for the last year. If that’s the case, it’s unlikely that any program will cover it retroactively. I hope I’m wrong.
I just had to renew my moms copay grant. Had success in the past with PAN Foundation, HealthWell and Patient Advocate Foundation. If you need funds immediately I’d start with PAN. Keep in mind that all of these open and close finding for different conditions all the time so if the funding is closed keep checking back. Let me know if you have any questions. Oh! And I just learned this last time around that you can apply for multiple grants if one is not enough to cover what you need.
I have used the co-pay assistance program. Please visit the link and retrieve application and apply. Your Onc will have to also fill out a portion of the form.
If you contact IBRANCE DIRECTLY (877-744-5675) They have a program, based on income, that will completely pay for your ibrance, you just have to fill out a form and then your doctor has to fill out a form and send it into them, and their customer service is really wonderful
So sorry you have to go through worrying on how to get the medicine that will give you extra time of life😡 so wrong! After reading all the answers hopefully you will find some assistance. My Doctors office has been very helpful with assistance for me and I pay a co pay of $25 a month. I will 🙏 you find help and can concentrate on your health, as it should be♥️
Hi there! Were you able to get your prescription refilled/copay issue resolved? My mother was on Ibrance, but got switched to Verzenio. I have some of her Ibrance if you need. What's your dosage?
