Had my scan and onc appt Wednesday. 3 new liver lesions between 1 and 2 cm. Taking 200 mg of Verzeniio every 28 hours. Asked him to look at Lasofoxifene which he could write for vaginal atrophy. Drew another Gaurdant 360 specimen and will follow with tissue biopsy if it isn't conclusive.
Pardon me please if I don't respond quickly or appropriately. I'm really struggling emotionally these days. Love to you all. Andi

Andi you really do keep being dealt some sh** right now.I am so sorry you have more liver lesions. You don’t need to reply just know that I am thinking of you and will send Josie your way for some angel help.
Take all the time you need. I am sure I would be a wreck after hearing yet more bad news. You will find your strength to cope again once the unfairness abates.
Sorry you are struggling Andi , but wanted to let you know I am thinking about you and sending you love . I hope you soon have some positive news . x 😘
Boy do I understand the daily emotional struggle. How long have you been on verzenio? Did it just begin? Are there only the two tumors in your liver or is there some displaced cancer throughout your liver? Do you have back nerve pain? i skipped verzenio in the beginning of my liver involvement and stayed on Ibrance a short while. But, then liver got much worse and began IV taxol at the new and reduced dosage, thank God. I have been on it now going into my 7th round of every three weeks. I can say that the taxol has worked really well and controlling and reducing my spread to the liver mets. And I tolerate the drug quite well, especially after stopping the steroids IV. So, if you go that route, it will be much easier than you may think.
I have unfortunately experienced liver progression on my last 3 treatment lines … it’s so worrying,
I’m currently on IV Epirubicin & tolerating it really well - just hope it’s working its magic…. I’m also using the cold cap very successfully & so pleased to keep nearly all my hair.
I’ve not yet tried Verzenio (abemaciclib) & it’s been recently approved under the nhs here in the UK, it still may not be available to me as nice guidelines stipulate an order of treatments etc …. I do however know of several ladies who have done really well on it particularly with liver mets. It’s something I will still push to try in the future.
Most treatments take a few months to kick in so I think it’s certainly worth you sticking with verzenio for a little longer if possible.
Thankfully, I’m still not showing any symptoms at all of my widespread mets to lung, bone & liver. I’m doing my best to continue to live life to the full.
Take care & very best wishes & also feel free to DM me.
Thinking of you Andi and sending positive vibes your way . Sometimes this load gets too heavy to carry , so rest …. Then get back up , dust yourself off ….. and do what you have got to do .
Sorry to hear you have more liver mets. I hope you can get back to an even keel once you have had time to digest this news. I have my fingers crossed that your meds will start to work and you will have some positive news soon. Sending hugs.
Sometimes I get so mad at this thing we are all dealing with. I believe the mental/emotional toll is harder than the disease at times. Praying you get your sunshine back and soon.
So sorry to hear about more liver mets. It’s like getting sucker punched in the gut, but there are more treatments out there - maybe some local treatments (Y90, SBRT, etc.). I have read good things about Lasofoxifene. Be kind and gentle to yourself. Sending prayers your way.
