Plexus

Hi just wondering if anyone on here has cancer of the brochial plexus .The big nerve that goes into the arm ?

I don’t have this but would be interested to know the symptoms felt before you were diagnosed with it.

About 2 years ago I started to get severe pain electric shocks and pins and needles in my ..I was told it was trapped nerve or radiotherapy damage after being sent round the houses fir 2 years I was sent fir a MRI on my plexus which is the main nerve that goes into your arm ..it was Cancer and as a result of being left so long I now in more pain my hand has withered and arm not much use ..I was failed ..I now have good oncologist who knew what it was straight away and now treatment ..there is no cure as I have cancer in my spine also .. hope thisgashelped x

Thanks for the reply. I still get pins and needles on my mastectomy arm but no pain. I will ask my oncologist about it when I see him next week.

Hi Sandra I don't think cancer of the plexus is common ..after 2 years of physio for trapped nerve etc I was sent to breast consultant and he said radiotherapy damage ..pain got worse I lost use if my hand and arm .was sent to a oncologist she knew what it was straight away ..she was cross that nobody had done a scan of the plexus .had scan and there was cancer ..I was so upset that I had been missed but she is great ..thank God I went to her otherwise it would have spread. I also have a lesion on the T3 but touch wood has not spread to organs ..I know there is no cure but keeping under control will hopefully give me time ..just cross I have lost use of my hand and arm because it was left ..can't dwell on it just have my trust in doctors now
