Tamoxifen side effects

I have a question for tamoxifen users. Not a big deal but I am curious. I am 76 and have been on tamoxifen for a year and a half. I have gray hair - quite long. The hair is thinning but my curiosity is about my hair darkening. It is turning a dark brunette. Just seems kind of weird. Anyone else had that happen? Also have the fatigue and night sweats but not too bad. Thanks.

Artist_B when I would accompany my son-in-law on his doctor visits post his cancer treatment, I have seen women there who also had this brownish-reddish hair growing out after their cancer treatment. Perhaps it is a side effect? However, no doctor tells you that.

Crikey, I have been using it but mine has mainly dropped out (I'm 69)

I'm 71 and was prescribed it last year, I decided to stop taking it as the side effects were so awful - wanted quality of life.

Thanks for the replies. My hair is falling out too but not too bad. Using Routine shampoo and conditioner to help show it down. It is going from silver to dark charcoal in color. At least I still have some hair! Best to all of you.
