What time does your RLS began?

My symtoms usually began evenings around six P.M. or slightly later. I take my pramipexole at five and if I happen to forget to take it and the rls starts, it takes about two hours to start getting relief. I have been hospitalized twice and both times they insisted on giving me the med at NINE P. M.! Meaning it will be eleven P.M. before relief starts after beginning at 6-7. The last time I was in the hospital I really had to fight hard to get them to break the rules but I won out in the end. I was just curious the average time symtoms start in others.

Thank You

I don't get any RLS anymore now I'm off Ropinirole and on Buprenorphine. As you're on Pramipexole, it's likely you're experiencing augmentation. The RLS starts earlier in the day and becomes more severe and moves to other body parts. Read up on it. It may be a good time to consider getting off Pramipexole.

Mine starts 7-8pm, I take 150mg Pregabalin at 5:30 pm and again at 8pm, total of 300mg sometimes I feel it starting upagain around 10pm, then I take a delta 9 CBG gummy. Usually helps.

hi bluechipx, I’m a 72 yr old female and got RLS about 15 yrs ago. At first my RLS would star at around 8-9, I started taking Tramadol after trying gabapentin which did absolutely nothing for me except gain weight. So, I noticed that Tramadol takes about two hours to kick in so I started taking my meds at 6 or so but then my RLS started earlier and I’ve been very steady on a scheduler of (1)50 mg Tramadol at 5:30 and I take another one at 10:30, no problems what so ever. I’m very strict with my schedule because as you already know, the meds ( Tramadol) takes a good 2 hrs to work and if I forget then I’m in trouble till the pills work. I use my alarm on my phone so I NEVER forget. Good luck. The good part is that I haven’t experienced any augmentation, and though i don’t know enough, maybe being so strict with my schedule has helped.

Early on I found that an opioid (norco 10mg) would stop my rls in fifteen minutes if I forgot to take my pramipexole. Unfortunately, in a very short time fifteen minutes for relief tunred into an hour, still better than nothing but it looked like it just kept getting longer. Also, I must look like the kind of person that doctors don't want to give pain meds to! I never actually ask doctors for them to put them in a uncomfortable position, but I tell them symtoms that strongly suggest opioids. I have a very bad lower back and I've had injections and been to the pain clinics and explained I have trouble getting out of bed in the morning and can barely work in my shop due to back pain and they suggest everything but pain meds.

Thank you for all the information, I’ve been so fortunate to have stayed this long on Tramadol without problems other than the usual ones which I’ve adjusted to such as sleeplessness , constipation, but those are problems that can be taken care of in other ways.

I don’t like taking medications, only what I need, so for the sleeplessness I don’t do anything, I stay up usually till 4-5 dosing on and off till I finally fall asleep soundly for about 4 hrs which is enough for me. Usually after 3 days of this I finally get to sleep earlier, 11-12 PM straight through the night, it’s something I adjusted to, BUT, on that third night sometimes I take a supplement I found online called DEEP SLEEP, it’s herbal and it really works, I’ve suggested it to a few friends snd they love it, including a very popular and well known personality. The good part is you wake up completely clear headed, no foggy feeling. Thank goodness for Netflix because on my sleepless nights I watch movies, lots of movies 😂
