Finally got the tablets( 2mg. Is lowest dose in US), which was WAY too much. Had severe nausea, vomiting for hours ,nystagmus and vertigo. Stop dose by decreasing time in mouth to 10 minutes which is working well- no RLSno PLMD, and for some reason, my hot flashes have stopped since taking it. Best guess is I’m around 1mg. I’ve been completely off Prami for 4 weeks now. So far, so good.

Hopefully, no further pharmacy drama about the Buprenorphine.

I'm delighted to hear it.Here in the UK, we get much lower dose pills, starting at 0.2mg.

I do brilliantly on 0.4mg.

You could try a quarter pill tonight to see if it works, as a lower dose may work.

For the extreme nausea and vomiting, I used medical cannabis at night for a week, and then stopped. The nausea and vomiting had gone.

Fingers crossed the pharmacy respects your doctor's prescription.

These pills don’t split, they just disintegrate, so we’re just limiting the amount of time under the tongue. Tonight I try 9 minutes.

I am on a contract to not use cannabis, alcohol, or any other pain medication except Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Ihaven’t drank in years as it aggravated the RLS so bad and I don’t like the effects of cannibis, so I stopped using that a while back so it wasn’t a big deal to sign it to me.

Shumbah takes the 2mg pills and confirms she uses a pill cutter or shaves off with a razor.Once in the mouth, yes, they dissolve.

Try using a pill cutter to cut in half.

As Joolsg suggested you could use a pill cutter but since cutting them in quarters is probably not easy you can get an inexpensive jewelry scale that measures down to .01 gram from Amazon ($11 ) and shave off a bit of the tablet and measure it.

I'm in the US and prescribed 2mg.

I purchased a pill cutter on Amazon and I have to quarter the Buprenorphine. I then crush it up and take almost all of the quarter and leave the remainder. It's the closest I can get to 0.4mg as possible.

Not very scientific but, it works for me.

Hi. I am on Suboxone, which is a 2 mg tape of BUP. Dr. B told me to cut it in half to 1 mg. I need far less than than that, probably about the .4, as well. Good luck! I know what it feels like to vomit from BUP-it happened many times when I was using my brother's and before I got in with Dr. B. I was also using Kratom. Such a tough time.

It’s much easier to cut down below 5 mg is to ask for the tabs. The come as low as 5 mg. And it can easily be cut down by 8ths. If needed.
