I have a terrible sinus infection and want to see if meds prescribed will effect RLS? Amooxicillin-clav, prednisolone 4 mg and guaifen-codeine 100-10 mg. Thanks for any help

I took amoxicillin for post Covid sinus infection. It didn't make my RLS any worse, but we do all respond differently. Some find antibiotics do trigger worsening.Same with the steroids. I have them with every MS drug infusion. They don't worsen my RLS, but others have reported a problem.

The guafenisen/codeine should be alright as guafenisen is a non drowsy decongestant.

Hope you feel better soon.

Worth checking for food intolerances. Peanuts make me especially mucosy meaning that my sinuses and eusachean tube get blocked up which could lead to infection.
