My RLS is fairly well controlled right now, thanks to information from this wonderful site.
Unfortunately I now have a recurrence of sciatica nearly six years after I had spinal injections which completely relieved the terrible pain I was in. When I say terrible, I mean I could barely walk and went from never wanting to take tablets to taking everything the doctor prescribed, & I was taken into hospital in a wheelchair! Does anyone have experience of spinal injections triggering RLS?

I have had RLS for about 15 years and also periodic episodes of sciatica. Almost 2 years ago my sciatica was so bad in my left leg that I could hardly walk. I had 3 injections in the left side of my lower back over a period of several weeks, and I have been free of sciatica pain now for almost 2 years. I already had RLS, but I did not notice any change in my RLS during this period.
I also suffer from sciatica which has been present for years, comes and goes, currently is present. I too received the injections and yes, they have brought on more RLS reactions. I ended the epidural injections as I wasn't receiving the benefit from them. I also have a spinal cord stimulator as of this year, and working with a medical rep to adjust the program to relieve it. As of six months, it hasn't.
