I was wondering how people here are dealing with Covid-19.
It would be the LAST thing we RLS sufferers need. I hope all of you are doing well in that regard and are taking good care of yourselves.
My RLS is the same, nothing has changed. I still use the IcyHot and it works. It takes longer sometimes and I get desperate but I finally manage to fall asleep.
This question is about PN, Peripheral Neuropathy. I got mine from chemotherapy.
Someone here told me I might have Small Fiber Neuropathy based on some of my symptoms. I was wondering... Is it possible to have both? The last symptoms started a few years after I had the chemo and the 'other' PN started. Should I expect to have 'other' types of PN?. This and the RLS plus leg pain is driving me totally crazy.
I feel I'm venting out more than anything. Thanks for reading and keep taking care of yourselves. The world needs you!!

Covid 19 has it's advantages. The other day I was in a zoom meeting online, instead of face to face. Somebody really annoyed me, so I just said, " you're not listening", then clicked on the "Leave" button. Great! I don't think I could have done that if I was actually in the same room.
I also suffer from Aspergers and get really nervous when people get too close. Two metres is great for me.
I guess the thing about PN is that there's quite a few causes, but really if you have any kind that's irreversible, then you're stuck with it and treatment is aimed at relieving symptoms.
I'm not sure if your pain is neuropathic or a RLS symptom.
I don't get "RLS pain", but I do get neuropathic pain.
It appreciate you're trying to avoid medication and the IcyHot may have some effect but it doesn't sound entirely satisfactory.
I don't know what medications you've tried, if any, but I suggrdt you consider starting taking an slpha 2 delta ligand.
These can be effective for both nerve pain and RLS. I take one as I have both and for me it's working.
Thank you. I was prescribed Lyrica for fibromyalgia and took it for several years. It didn't help me with the fibro but was driving me crazy and had to stop taking it. Thanks anyway. 😥
