I am 74, a white male in good health. After 73 years of failure, abuse and shame - I have been diagnosed with Mixed ADHD , level 3 with sensitivity and major depression. I am on three meds now and doing ok. But - in the past - I failed in JH and HS, and did not have any close friends - then was drafted to die in Viet Nam to support a crooked Congress that supported the Military industry. While in the military I was demeaned by peers, ridiculed and put down - but not for my military duty in schools. So I medicated myself with nicotine and alcohol, that did not help, so I quit both a year after. I served with honor for 3 1/2 years and then with 18 1/2 years with the NAVY, MTNG and USMC. I WAS PROMOTED and RECEIVED Awards - but never made any long life close friends. I suffered 5 years to get a Teaching Degree, but I could not handle the criticism from silf centered peers and School administration - So I and had to quit . As a Medical Surgical Central Processing Supervisor - I was again attached verbally by staff and was not supported by my female Supervisor and Peers that were partying with the staff and doing drugs. As a floor Salesman, for a hardware store - I was unjustly accused of theft, because I was purchasing items for my two female girls for college - but then was a pologized to by the low-life supervisor! During this time - I tried to commit suicide three times. I woke up each morning, shaved and put on a smile to fool my wife and girls , then went to work and did the best job I could. But then, I returned home TOTALY Exhausted and Ashamed of a job I did not care for. My family did not understand , but why should they - I did not understand my failures either. My students really like me, my customers really like me and I received rewards and promotions. But at night, the world fell in as I removed my smiling face, the thoughts of the profanity and demeaning words of peers and supervisors raced threw my head and tiers fell silently on my pillow. I am 66 years of age, a white male and in terminal health, always had bad health all my life, have been called "a one off" GPs are actually scared of me, because of my 'unusual' medical cv! I react badly to many medications, vaccines etc. I have Schwannomatosis or NF3, which I have had since the age of 14, it is a very rare neurological condition, I was wondering since I have not a lot of time left, could my personal experiences, even body be used for medical research, undoubtedly this condition will be heavily influenced by some of my many colourful medical conditions. My epilepsy whereby have had over 400 seizures, I was told and it has now been officially medically diagnosed, my next seizure will probably be my last! Presently awaiting results for Prostate Cancer, which I KNOW are not looking too clever either? I am not scared to die, originally told about my epilepsy diagnosis in July 2021, got all my "arrangements" sorted out, but in all my 66 years have NEVER been in contact with ANYBODY with Schwannomatosis of NF3, I would like to help in some way in the research for this rare condition, while I still have some time?
