I have just joined Health Unlocked, Thank you for accepting me.

I am a carer, for my mother who has Alzheimer s and assorted health problems. My dad died of vascular dementia four years ago. So these family problems add to my on going depression and anxiety

I would like to say thank you to the person ho talked about her parent being put on an anti sickness patch, this relieved the build up of phlegm in his chest and it worked. One of the practice nurses recommended it.

So I tried this with my mother using tablets, as she has the same problem

Could you specify (drug, brand name) the type of patch that you have successfully applied to reduce phlegm?

We apply salt water and lemon vapors, keep the humidity of the room above 40% along with a frequent intake of liquids; We have improved a lot but based on a laborious management of all this, which sometimes finds the rejection of the patient.
