I was invited to join by Angela. I had Cytoreductive surgery (MOAS) and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) at Basingstoke in 2017 and since then I have been monitored by my own hospital who send all test results to Basingstoke for review.

Hi good to see you here and that you are now 3 years on from your MOAS. Often local hospitals will do the scans and forward to Basingstoke or The Christie (here in the UK) for review, it saves on travelling and resources. I hope you continue to do well. I had my last MOAS in 2009. Enjoying the sunshine today.

Hi framed hope you are safe and well with everything that is going on presently.

I too have my scans and blood tests done locally and Basingstoke review them.

Are you finding enough to keep you busy whilst you’re at home? It can be difficult I know, especially if you’re are dealing with health issues.

Here to chat if you want.

Cassie, I will not compromise my anonymity but you probably know who I am. All is well, but I am now confined, not by my PMP but because of a lung infection that was found during routine scans some time ago but confirmed with a bronchoscopy. Along with my oncologist, we are going to wait for the next CT scan planned for May, and make a decision based on those results. Despite the confinement we can get out of the house and walk in the countryside without meeting anyone and with today's weather and this time of year, UK cannot look much better, unless of course you are out in the hills of Wales or Scotland.

Hello Cassie. I have attended Basingstoke for 14 years and had wonderful treatment so you are in very good hands. I cannot say I enjoy isolation I miss seeing people and look forward to when we can again.
