Rising PSA Level

Hello. I am now 16 months out from prostate removal surgery. My PSA level was undetectable about 3 months after surgery. Then, three months ago it increased to 0.23. Today I see that my level has risen again to 0.56. What does this likely mean? And, what can I expect my next steps to be? Thank you.

You should be talking to a radiation oncologist about salvage radiation immediately. It will entail whole pelvic radiation + 4-6 months of androgen deprivation therapy. Consider entering this clinical trial:

Thanks, Tall Allen, I hoped you would respond. I'm scheduled for a PET scan in two weeks, and then I'll meet with the radiation oncologist to discuss next steps. I'll post to the forum with updates. Much appreciated.
