Cialis has something like a 38 hour potency residency in your body (they advertized it as the weekend pill). That means that at 4 days you are just about getting sufficient overlap of the doses to achieve a reasonably steady concentration. It might take your system a few more days to become fully reactive. So give it a week or 10 days. It's also possible that the SOC 5mg dose is just not enough for you. Every guy is potentially different. You might need more, or a different schedule.

For me (condensed version ~18 years), 5mg worked for years, but when they became unavailable to me I tried cutting 10mg in half, but soon switched to 10mg every other day and got better results. Years later their effectiveness waned for me and I switched to 20mg every other day ... again fine. Unfortunately (maybe fortunately) I had trouble getting pills for about a month and the hiatus made me aware that the listed "lower back pain" side-effect was significant. So I've switched to roughly 1/week (insurance is 18 for 90 days) and find the side-effect eliminated and pretty good reaction to the 20mg pills. All of which is to say, know yourself, experiment with care, find what works for you ... and don't be surprised if it changes. Hopefully you have a doctor who will listen to you and work with you.

My doc is confident that I will have erections again. Lucky for me the meds cost 20$ for a 90 day supply. Guess I have really good insurance.

I'm eight months out from laparoscopic prostate removal surgery with nerve-sparing on one side, and still no erection. I can't tolerate the side effects of Viagra, Cialis, and Levitra - and they gave me no benefit. I will be seeing a member of my urology team in a couple of weeks. Do you recommend I ask about the pump?

Definitely. Read this book:

Mulhall tells me there is a new edition coming out soon.

Yes, I have it. It's very good. I'll take another look at the section on pumps. Thanks.

My insurance doesn't cover, but GoodRX got me 100 pills for $26.00.

As mentioned, GoodRx is a great option. I got 90 20 mg generic tablets for about $47, and refills!
