No....Getting the PSMA Scan next week and if necessary, a biopsy to determine where things are. Hormone therapy is not ruled out. But I want to explore alternative therapies and or new protocols if possible. Side effects of hormone therapy don't seem like fun.

They’re not, but it’s usually effective. Good luck with your alternatives search.

Sorry to read your news. I'm sure it's a scary time for you. Best of luck with your search and decision.

Re ADT. It sucks (and not in a good way). Read "Androgen Deprivation Therapy: A Guide..." Describes in detail what happens, what to expect, and suggestions for coping. I just had my last - I hope - injection of Lupron and it's been quite a ride thus far. But, if it's the best of lousy choices...

Anyhoo, keep us informed.

Thank you....I am also very interested in seeking out alternative methods. New trials etc. Peace.

Consider Proton Radiation. Much more focused treatment.

I highly recommend Dr Almeida in Phoenix for a C-11Acetate PET scan study over a PSMA.

No blind salvage for me. You need to know what you are aiming at or whether you need systemic treatment for metastatic disease.

My best to you.
