May I ask a favor?

Many posters use abbreviations in their posts which many of us don't understand. Would it be too difficult for people to spell out what the abbreviation means? Otherwise, lots of people are not fully benefiting from your expertise and experience. Also, sometimes there are technical issues discussed related to treatment. It would also be helpful for those things to be explained for people who don't understand the shorthand. Thank you!

It takes a while to learn the jargon. It can be baffling and frustrating. But, it's a royal pain to spell out "androgen deprivation therapy" each time it's used so it's abbreviated for ease of use. And, precision of communication. Guess I'm stating the obvious. Anyhoo, the lists provided by Tall_Allen and Daryl are a big help.

My pet peeve is the word "Chemo" or "Chemotherapy" ! Then they ask a specific question about their recovery and we don't know what agent they mean! But I'll get over it!
