My journey with Stage 4 Mets PSA continues

This is my 2nd post since diagnosed this past February. After zytiga failed tried Xtandi and it too failed, PSA continued to climb. After the first chemo treatment with taxotere , my MO said to expect a spike by the time the next treatment was due in 3 weeks. It did spike to 137 and today I am happy to report that the PSA dropped to 117. I have renewed hope in fighting this dreadful disease and wish everyone not to get despondent; that you can find a treatment that works.

Try re-challenging with Xtandi or Zytiga after you complete Taxotere treatments. It's been known to resensitize the cancer.

Thanks Tall_Allen. I will definitely bring this up to my MO when I finish with chemo. 6 more treatments. I am glad I didn’t throw away those pills.
