Men with pc are more likely to get cvd than non sufferers, is this due to ADT when advanced pc is treated or are there other reasons

MDs are still debating this...and not all studies come to the same conclusion as to the risk? Quite a few have shown an increased risk if a man already has a pre-ADT CV problem!! Of course, many men have undiagnosed CV problems ...so that makes studies somewhat iffy maybe ???

Or to prostate cancer treatment as I developed high blood pressure while taking ADT. It can make you insulin resistant so there is a risk not only of high bp but also of diabetes. However the first step is not to die of the cancer itself and then do what can be done with whatever else develops.

ADT is definitely a big risk factor for CVD

But what about men with high blood pressure going on to develop Prostate Cancer ?

To help reduce both PCA and cardiovascular mortality risk, the Rx is the same: lots of exercise. Resistance and cardio/aerobic. Much info on this here on HU
