ProAct success

I had RP back in 2018 successfully but was left with mild incontinence as a result. I researched different options to address my problem and eventually pursued ProAct therapy which involves the insertion of tiny balloons up to the bladder neck sphincter and are inflated to the proper pressure to close that damaged sphincter. Well, long story short, I had the procedure done in Naples Florida and again in Boston and both were unsuccessful because of mis -aligned balloon placement.

Now the good news. The Dr who invented this process recommended that I see Dr. Antonio Beltran at Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach , Fl. Because of his experience and success rate. I had the surgery this past Thursday and I went from 2-3 pads a day to 1/2 pad a day. This is my experience after only 3 days post surgery . I will have an adjustment in about a month which will result , hopefully , in being completely dry.

So, to my PC brothers who are dealing with post op incontinence I highly recommend Dr. Beltran to help you with this problem. It’s been 5 years of wetness for me and finally I’m virtually dry.

My situation is quite similar. RP in 2019 and average one pad per day. The stress incontinence is annoying. I've been researching PROAct as well after attending an event in Dallas where this procedure was discussed. I'm leaning toward getting over the 1 pad per day thing until this procedure has better outcomes. So glad for you, and thanks for sharing the information.
