My intro told my story, but condensed, PSA 8.6. Biopsy 4 of 15 positive 3(3+4) (1) 3+3.

PSMA yesterday, results back no metastasis found.

My GP referred me to a Dr. Sidana at University of Cincinnati. Anyone have experience or knowledge of him?

Also had biopsy sent to John's Hopkins.

Secondary question, Biopsy was 15 cores and found nothing left side. PSMA seemed to detect something on left side. I know biopsy can miss things, but MRI showed nothing on left side as well. Is that common?

Thanks!

Yes - very common to find more on one side. But remember, PCa is almost always bilateral and multifocal when examined post-prostatectomy. You sound like a good candidate for active surveillance.

Based on the extent of the cancer?

That sounds like a much better option to me!

Tall_Allen, very interesting. My MRI and other tests all indicated I only had one lesion on one side of my prostate. My RP pathology said it was "bilateral."

It depends also on the extent and amount of pattern 4?
